Built poor. Did not connect vent in attic from bathroom so ice built up in attic. Thus led to water damage. (still not fixed). Did not install the USB power outlets requested. Power outlets and light switches crooked. Seams in walls and ceiling showing. Wrong calking around sinks or areas not calked at all. When delivered left house on road for weeks with windows open. Gaps in flooring. Gaps on pretty much every window sill. Lump entirely down middle of house where the 2 pieces of house come together. Gaps in flooring. Cabinets not fully painted. They will not allow flat walls and only do textured walls to hide everything, but errors still show. Doors crooked. Could list more. Never called back after multiple messages left.

Our Wisconsin home will be 18 yrs old this year. As nice as the day they set it. We changed appliances last year. Nothing wrong with them, I just decided to upgrade. We put our own stone floors and carpet in and some light fixtures. Very happy all the way around working with them.

Do not purchase a Wisconsin Home from Quality Homes in Irma, WI.
Our Wisconsin Home is beautiful and we love it but they lost out on 5 stars from us because we bought through Quality Homes. When we turned to Wisconsin Homes for help, they sent us back to QH. That was very disappointing. John LaMonica at Quality Homes is a nightmare to deal with. He couldn’t know less about home construction if he tried and once he has your money, he’s done. Sent an individual to do the finishing work in our home who actually ruined things in our brand new house and then helped himself to our building materials when he left. Do yourself a favor, read as many reviews as you can possibly find before committing to anything.

We did 2 tours of the homes and both were very helpful in our decisions. We watched part of our home being built which was amazing. We have had many compliments on our home and no one can believe it was made proior to being brought to our site. We have thouroughly enjoyed every experience with Wisconsin Homes.

Just a quick note to let the world know that our Wisconsin Home is
Wonderful!! We live in Hayward Wisconsin, and have the best constructed and decorative home ever. No body believes this is a Modular home, this home after a year of settling, never had one settling crack any where. If you thinking of modular, please go with Wisconsin Home, you will not regret it. Sincerely-
Rita and Bob , Hayward Wisconsin

EDIT Dec 8th: I love the quality of Wisconsin homes. Beware: do not order one of these beautiful homes from Anderson Homes out of Sebeka, MN. They do not care about you and have no communication whatsoever about anything during the building or delivery process. As of today our home is still not on the foundation. It is beautiful to look at though. Please order one of these homes from anyone else!!!

EDIT Nov 30th: I have recently learned that most of our problems were with our supplier not communicating the shortages to us in a timely manner to prevent all of these issues. I will update my review once again after I receive my home.

Original:
Our house was supposed to be finished on Nov 2nd and now we still don't have it on Nov 15th. Our basement has an inch of ice plus snow on top of that because we did not get our house on time.

Ron Beers of Wisconsin homes told us we had to use Quality homes in Irma to order our home. We paid 1090.00 for a shower door that took 2 1/2 months after the delivery of the house to even get. It was put in our garage. It's been almost seven months and it's still not installed. The floor in the center of the house isn't level where the house comes together. It took 4 months to get the fireplace put together. They replaced a damaged bathroom door and broke the lock cylinder. We had to pay in full up front before the house was set. Now I can't get Wisconsin homes or Quality homes to even return my phone call.

It took over 7 months from the time of our down payment for WI Homes, Inc., to finish our modular home and another 3 months to deliver it to our town. Don’t believe the speed that they promote on their site.

The builder that we went through still hasn’t finished what they are to do on their end, and it has now been 14 months since we put down our down payment. This is costing us a great deal in construction loan interest.

Find another company to purchase from or go stick built. In the end, the money saved isn’t much especially considering how long this is taking. If I had another chance, I wouldn’t work with this company or the builder in our town, Amity Creek Homes.

Update 10/31/23: It has now been nearly 17 months since our down payment and the project is still not done. Admittedly, this is mostly on Amity Creek. However, WI Homes is aware of the situation as they called to ask if we could remove this review.

Last update: Our home was finally finished in December 2023, 18 months after placing our down payment.

RESONDING TO THE REPLY BELOW: We placed our deposit for our home in June 2021. It was not completed until December 2023. June 2021 was well after businesses opened again after the pandemic. There was no moment during our discussions with Amity Creek or Wisconsin Homes Inc that there would be any delays in the building of our home. Instead, we were given false promises of completion. Three times, we approached an estimated time of completion given to us by Amity Creek and WI Homes Inc and the completion time was pushed back. Had your company been honest about the time it would take to complete the home, I would not be leaving this review.

We also made WI Homes aware that Amity Creek was not responding to our communications and our home was not being completed, but you did not feel the need to reach out then to ensure your builder was fulfilling their duties. If you truly "worked closely" with your builders, I would expect that our concerns have been addressed much sooner than you checking in with them 2 months shy of 2 years after we placed our deposit to see if our house had in fact been completed.

You failed, and it is irresponsible to write lies that the pandemic was only at fault in this process, when our other contractors had no issues completing their work when promised, even when your company forced them to change their timeline as well.
