James and his team were excellent to work with. We worked with them for finishing our entire basement. They did the design work, picked materials, and all the construction. The team was professional, kept the work site clean daily, communication was excellent and they stayed on timeline and budget. They replaced our windows which couldn’t open. Found that our old windows were held in by nails nailed into the inside trim and the sills were slanted. So they had to build casements to hold up the new windows. Even with the extra work the cost was reasonable. And the crew was meticulous in finishing the areas outside the windows, matching paint, cleaning up, and moving furniture as needed for the project. They also rehung all the curtains and curtain rods! They know older houses and have answers to the problems that may arise. Thank you, Jonathan and Alex and the rest of the crew.

I am in search of a home in Madison from across the country. I can't fly to Madison every time something comes on the market that I am genuinely interested in. So I work with James. He coordinates with the agent or the home owner to conduct an inspection. In one case, he even provided a semi-detailed estimate on the installation of a laundry room.

He performs a really comprehensive walk-through and inspection (from a contractor's perspective) and provides his take on the property. His written report includes many photos. It's perfect.

As a result of this great experience with James, and the information that it has provided me along the way, from now on, I will choose to do this even if I am able to view a home in person. I can't wait to have the opportunity to work with Westring when I make home improvements and renovations to whatever home I buy in Madison.
