We used these contractors in 2018 when they were Monk Payver Inc. they were supposed to install the travertine around the pool area and on the balconies. The job was done very poorly Even the owner admitted the person was unqualified. The travertine was placed uneven with different spacing in between the tiles. It was a tripping hazard. After 4 years we had to remove the travertine on one of the balconies because the water was dripping through the ceiling underneath. After we removed the travertine we discovered that the stone was placed on bare plywood with no moisture barrier on it. I was charged extra to repair one area due to rotted wood. So, I guess they just covered the area with plywood and placed the stone directly on it. There is a big hole that formed where the “repair “ was done because the moisture barrier wasn’t used. I’m glad we caught it on time and the travertine didn’t fall through and hurt someone Now I have to spend a lot of money to fix what they neglected to do. Stay away from them. Save yourself a headache and money. Renaming the company doesn’t mean the quality is there
A second picture shows that the some sort of plant/ weed was left behind and the travertine was placed on it. Maybe they left it for a good luck

Excellent craftsmanship. The installers cut bricks to accommodate round pipe fittings, square posts, added a step, and curved the walkway, The bricks are tightly fitted to prevent weeds between cracks. I highly recommend these workers.

Arthur and his crew did a wonderful job extending my patio and building a walkway and flower space for my backyard. I sit out there every day and enjoy the space I now have. The tile matches the original tile on my original patio perfectly and everybody who comes out to my back yard gives me compliments on how pretty it is. I recommend everybody to this company. West Building Contractors paved out driveway and walkway. They did an excellent job. We have had so many compliments. Dave and Arthur were great. All the guys that did the paving were very friendly and professional. I have plans to do some renovations inside my house in the future and I will definitely have West Contractors do them.

Arthur was the beginning of our experience. When he came to our home to provide a quote to install our paver driveway and walkway, he was professional, personable and prompt!! The entire crew was fantastic and respectful of our property making sure not to damage any surrounding landscaping. We are so pleased with the work West Building Contractors and have recommended them to neighbors when they stopped by to compliment how beautiful the walkway and driveway was..

Although it took the paver company a couple of months for our pavers to be ready, once Arthur got the pavers, he was quick to schedule the installation for our project. We were impressed with the quality workmanship of our shed pad and walkway. We even got a compliment from our neighbor. Definitely give them a call!

We recently decided to upgrade our pool and patio with travertine and after several quotes decided to go with WBC. They were an awesome team! We had a pool project going at the same time and had a timeline to keep, they did an excellent job working around both. Arthur was extremely helpful and always there when I had questions and stopped by to check on things. Highly recommend!!
