Our dry rot work was excellent and the gutter work he performed after was also very good. Absolutely would recommend and fully intend to engage him for similar work on our new home.

VY Construction was recommended by the painting company we chose to paint the exterior of our house. The house is 75 years old with redwood siding and several boards on one corner of the house needed to be replaced. The price was very fair for the work performed. Vitaly treated us like we were his most important client, even though it was a small job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and followed up with a proposal when he said he would. The work was performed by an equally friendly employee; Vitaly called at the end of the day to ask if everything was satisfactory. Vitaly gave us honest feedback to our questions and provided a referral for a drainage issue. We highly recommend his services and hope we have more work for him in the future.

I would highly recommend VY Construction for external home siding repair. My wife and I contacted Vitaly, of VY Construction, to repair external house paneling that had gone bad as well as trim around windows and doors with dry rot. We also needed portions of the chimney legs replaced. Vitaly came out to assess the damage and promptly provided a quote within a week. After accepting the quote he let us know when he could start and how long the job would take (estimated 5-7 days). He pulled the appropriate permits and also ordered a portable bathroom for his crew of three to use. He and his team started the work as scheduled. They arrived daily between 7:30 - 8:00am and would wrap up around 4:00pm. They would clean up any debris from the day's work before leaving. On the final day, Vitaly walked my wife and I through the repairs and explained what they had fixed. He also addressed a chronic issue with leaking by our master bedroom window. They found that the window weep holes had been caulked as well as gaps in the tile roofing adjacent to the window. They cleared the weep holes and added flashing over the tile and caulked underneath the eve. Vitaly also said to contact him if we encountered any leaks during the rainy season and he'd come back out.

In summary, we were very pleased with Vitaly and his team. They are very professional, polite and knowledgeable. The work is top notch. We would definitely have him come back for future repairs.

We had some dry rot on our sidings. After checking with several contractors, Vitaly (owner of VY Construction) was the only one that was willing to come over for a thorough review of the problem and gave us a quote. This gave us a piece of mind as other companies only wanted to assess the situation from the picture we sent them.

On the day of work, Vitaly showed up earlier than the promised time as he wanted to set up the tools so that he can start the work on time. He explained the work process carefully, did the repair on time and he cleaned up the place after completing the job.

Vitaly has high standard for his work, and you get what you paid for. VY Construction is not only a 5 stars company but a 6 stars company all the way!
