After My wife and I got numerous estimates, we decided on Verette Construction. Dave was very thorough in his assessment of our basement's needs, incl. wall straightening and the addition of vertical steel beams, correcting shearing in foundation blocks, wall patching, outside landscaping, i.e., bringing in topsoil and grading it away from house, and patio cement slab replacement (the old slabs were pitching toward the house, not away)

They did not disappoint.

Very fair cost estimate - thorough basement work done - regular updates on progress made - and updates on scheduled upcoming work. In addition, the work crew surprised us by doing such good clean-up after the projects were done.

To be objective in this review, I should point out negatives. (Otherwise, this sounds too much like a commercial for Verette.) Honestly, there were none to speak of!

Need basement work done? We'd recommend Verette.

Also, a shout-out to Superior Construction LLC. They were subcontracted by Verette to do the finishing cement work on our patio after Verette broke up and removed the old slabs. They also did excellent work!

I purchased a new home that needed some basement work. Verette came out and braced a wall and completed some drain tile repair. They were fabulous to work with! Verette was recommended to us by our relator as we prepared my childhood home for sale. The basement foundation needed some extensive repairs prior to putting it on the market. Dave came out to assess the situation and put us on their calendar so we could keep our timeline of putting the home on the market. The whole process was explained in detail. They were able to start the job early, and the entire team of workers were professional. The day they started was -20 below, but that did not stop them from working a full day and doing a thorough job. They laid plywood to protect the ground while excavating knowing we wanted the yard to look presentable for showings. I was given daily updates along with photos. Every person I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and team players. Annie in the office was especially helpful as I was managing things from another city. I would highly recommend Verette!

We just finished a big basement project w/ Verette and are extremely happy w/ the finished product. Our house is 115 years old w/ cream city brick foundation that was bowing in a musty, wet basement. Verette rebuilt 60 feet of foundation, installed drain tile throughout, poured a new basement floor, and took care of all the related electric, plumbing, and carpentry subcontracting. Our project manager, Josh, helped us design the project to start, and worked w/ us through hiccups that I'm sure are pretty normal for a project of that size and complexity. The final invoice came in as expected, on a bid that was competitive w/ the other guys. Already, we've had several contractors ask who did the work and confirm that Verette is the best. Highly recommend.

Verette was knowledgeable, fair, and dealt with all my concerns during the repair process. I contacted them on a recommendation after finding out that a repair would need to be completed before closing on a house that I was purchasing. They understood that time would be very limited, and it was important to me that the repair be done quickly, without compromising quality. We were able to close by our original date and the repair was completed without any issue. Very happy with the work that Verette did in my new home.

My husband and I used Verette for two projects this summer. We have a very old house that had a high dirt crawl space with fieldstone. It allows drafts and mice in the basement. Verette dug out the crawlspace and replaced it with a new room for storage. They did a fantastic job. They were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Special shout-out to Josh for being so great with the communication every step of the way. We also had them replace very old basement beams. We are very impressed with the craftsmanship and never doubted they knew what they were doing. We highly recommend Verette to anyone!
