While looking for someone to work on our ADU, we were nervous with the process and how to go about it. Not only did they help us with our ADU, they made the process smooth and helped us save money along the way. So grateful to Juan and Maria at Ventura ADU Specialists for all of their hard work and expertise. They really are specialists. Their know-how and ADU specific construction experience helped me avoid the pitfalls and added costs of trying to get my plans approved through the County myself. Due to Coronavirus, getting plans pushed through was an extremely difficult task. Juan and Maria got it done though. Highly recommend as a liaison between the owner and the municipalities.

We hired Maria and Jaun early 2022 to complete the design and pull the correct permits to convert a 2 car garage into a 1bed/1bath ADU on the westside of Ventura. The are extremely knowledgeable about the process and how to navigate it. Dealing with the City isn't easy but they successfully did the job. We finally got approval and our permits in less than 12 months. Thank you!

Took a year to get our ADU permit due to Covid slowing down all county offices and many battles but thankful Juan and Maria made it happen. Grateful we had someone representing us to help obtain all needed permits and decreasing costs significantly since it was a very foreign process for us where we didn’t know where to even start. Excited to start next process of remodeling and fixing things to needed code and hopefully be done in a few months.
