Showed the Villas at Vantage to a buyer as soon as they were launched on approximately January 19, 2025. Another option for a new build with a base price starting out at in $500,000. It would be nice if these models would have a one level living option to accommodate more buyers in the market. The features are about the same as other options in the marketplace at this price point.

After a really AMAZING experience with the purchase of a second home, I was so happy to complete the DR Horton survey a few days ago. I thought the least I could do would be to share my experience here where others might see it.

Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with how things went. Long story. There was a lot I inquired about before it was released. I had been keeping tabs on it for some time. Unfortunately, another buyer was ahead of us on the waiting list. Dean said he would keep an eye on it and let us know if the people weren't able to put it under contract with a different salesperson. When they were unable to perform upon its release, Dean reached out to me. I was ecstatic to say the least! If I recall correctly, we put it under contract the next day, and I think it was on his day off.

However, we had property to sell in order to make the purchase. Several months later our property in another state still hadn't sold. Talk about stressful. As our closing date approached, we knew we were running out of time. Dean went out of his way to get us more time to sell - WAY more than I could have hoped for. I was shocked and so very grateful. It turned out we needed all of it. I really felt he was an ally in this process, like he was working for us. I realize how that sounds, but that is how I felt. He knew how much I wanted the house, and he was determined to do all he could to help us get it.

Miracles happened and we closed! Every time I think about it, I feel so blessed. I still catch myself walking in the front door thinking how lucky we are, very lucky!! There is SO much more that Dean did for us, even responding to my emails, calls, and texts when he was out of the office when I was so worried. I was a wreck with the thought of losing the home, so I reached out to him a lot. Customer service and professionalism are his strengths. Not once were there any complaints or attitude from him. He's a great guy, like a good friend, who knows what is important. He's aware that he's selling something that can bring people so much happiness. To say Dean went above and beyond for us is an understatement. He was able to accomplish some impossible feats. I will be forever grateful.

He told us up front what we could and should not expect when buying a DR Horton home. He was very reasonable in our negotiations with him and we were overall very happy with our purchasing process.
