I have had ALL the above issues plus some more. My worker slow plays me when my rent should go down , and then she will raise it up when no one put in a change of income. When I started working trying to get on my feet and better my life, she said I was making WAY MORE than I was. She knew, I sent my paystubs in. She just picked out the highest ones and just started making my rent C-RAzzzY! It went from 106$ to 1028$—yes you saw correct. She raised my rent over 900$ in one month. From there I fought but it just got shady-er and more foul from there. They break HIPPA laws, have no regard or respect, and don’t feel they owe an explanation for anything. They are not above lying and they all cover each other, so good luck going up the line. I’ve never been treated so badly by ANY agency in ANY county. They are absolutely THE WORST. I could go on and on and on, but it only gets worse and you get rhe point./ bent over with sand and no Vaseline.

They would not help me at all and made me lose my section 8 voucher and you keep calling and will not return calls and just look at the telephone and let it ring, I went there one time and I call from the lobby would not answer the telephone and wslked right in the office and started walking around and just let the telephone ring when you speak up for your self they are rude and unprofessional and I'm disabled and they did not accomodate me. Threw my paper to the side like I did exist ay all and made me lose my section 8 voucher, you know how you have to wait to get a voucher!

Tina has been a real help, hoping everything works out. I have been trying to get help with my situation for a year and a half, and still haven’t gotten any. Very non-chalant about everything.

They are garbage. They lie and lose paperwork constantly. They should shut this office down. They violate hippa laws and every things else. Please call HUD and report them.

The Vallejo Housing Authority i my opinion is the very best of what the Department of Housing and Development can offer as a business to help ALL of Vallejo. The investments they make are much more than just for section 8 housing assistance. The area known as the Butte Streets Steps was in unlighted, seedy place for all kinds of problems that needed attention. The VHA providing the funding for the recreation of those steps and ow they are a beautifully lit, and well designed garden highly appreciated by the citizens that live around it. The true mark of an organization that works from a point of consciousness is the moments, places or people they help out and assist without concern of anything being returned to their organization. Many citizens do not know that the VHA can help with many items besides a section 8. There is even a woman (a preacher no less) that takes a chair & table down into the woods here near the town and sets up a station, should there be any questions for the homeless that wish to find a way back into our society. To me that is truly an earmark of a organization moving from a point of well being in every manner of the word. Truly the tops is how I best describe the Vallejo Housing Authority.
