I had a great experience hiring RENE and his company Upper bay Engineering.
My roof needed to be replaced due to extensive damage due to wind and storms.
Rene was prompt, punctual, efficient and withing budget.

I got several quotes and Rene was by far the most comprehensive one including permits, options and last minute repairs.

Rene finished my project withing four days!
Excellent service, very polite and super reliable.

I engaged Upper Bay Engineering for the installation of permanent LED lights on my house. While the overall appearance of the job was satisfactory, there were issues with adherence to instructions. The screw clips were not placed every 4 lights as specified; instead, they were affixed directly to my roof rafter with the sticky backing of the lights, lacking proper reinforcement.

Approximately three weeks post-installation, the lights began to detach. Despite promptly reaching out to the provided contact, a month passed without any resolution. Upon further communication, I was informed that inclement weather, which had not occurred at the time of my initial inquiry, was to blame. To my surprise, they now request payment to rectify the issue.

This experience raises concerns about their attention to detail on smaller projects and the questionable approach to customer responsibility. It prompts consideration of potential shortcomings in their execution of larger tasks, coupled with the possibility of clients bearing the financial burden for consequential errors.

As well as taking care of cracks in the stucco too. He and his crew are prompt and professional. Very excellent workmanship! I look forward to working with his company on other projects for my home.
