This company needs to seriously get out of business. The WORST COMPANY OUT THERE and they don't care, because low end warranty companies still use them. They are HORRIBLE. 3 MONTHS before they came out. Then they came out out of nowhere, and stayed 2 min (EXTREMELY rude and condescending) to look at my pool. Another 2 months and I gave up. It happened not once BUT TWICE!! I AM SO PISSED. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. DON'T EVER EVER use them. You guys will thank me for warning you.

I'm having a hard time understanding how this could be the same company with all these bad reviews. Robert came out to deal with an electrical outage in my bathroom after City First Electric (which somehow has 4 stars) came out and lied on the home warranty report claiming it was an overloaded circuit due to a lack of GFCI. Robert went through every bathroom in the house and confirmed they all had GFCIs an then said there had to be one in the bathroom with the outage. He searched every cabinet and corner and finally found an outlet hidden in a cabinet that was the GFCI, diagnosed a simple bad GFCI, replaced it and everything works. So I don't know why other people aren't getting the same kind of service because I was very happy with them.

My repairs were unfortunately assigned to Unified Contractors by our insurance company. We had two open claims: electrical and decorative fountains.

For the electrical issue, they canceled the morning of the appointment due to the tech being sick, which is understandable. However, the rescheduled appointment later in the week was a no-show. When I contacted the company, they were clueless and had to reach out to the tech, who was apparently still sick and hadn’t communicated his absence. Due to the lack of reliability, I had the electrical claim transferred to a new company.

The fountain repair was even worse. The repair person came to assess the fountains, but I wasn’t there to receive the diagnosis. There was no follow-up, and the technician went MIA. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company via text and phone, they never responded. The insurance company had to transfer this claim to another company as well.

Stay away from Unified Contractors if you value professionalism, communication, punctuality, and actually getting your repairs done. I do not know how this business is still in operation with their garbage customer service and lack of care for their work.

worst company ever, gave false diagnosis to insurance company that expected me to pay 1k for repairs. I hired my own repair guy and ended up paying $200. Stay away from this company at all costs. The reviews don't lie. The tech even called to cancel the day before just like their yelp mentions.

Go elsewhere! This company is a joke and I wish I could give zero stars.

They were the assigned dispatch from Fidelity Home Warranty and came out to check on a pool heater issue. Of course while here testing it out, the heater worked fine only to have the same problem re-surface days after they were here. The tech was completely aware of the issue and wouldn't replace a faulty part (and get paid/close out a work order.) Both the warranty company and myself could not get ahold of them for the follow up. Not sure why you have a phone number if you're not going to answer it.

It's amazing companies like this stay in business. It shouldn't be this difficult to give business to someone. Oh, be sure to read their BBB reviews - might even be worse than here.

This company is an absolute joke!

Fidelity National Home Warranty (FNHW) should be ashamed of themselves for repeatedly dispaching this company when so many people have written negative reviews and have had such poor experiences.

My 8+ year old pool filter has a crack in the bottom section. FNHW had Unified Contractors come take a look. The claim was denied stating that the crack in the filter was the result of the water level in my pool being too low.

This is wrong on so many levels:
If the water level was low it was because the filter has a big crack in it and is leaking water as a result, not vice versa.
I have an auto-fill on my pool.
I have been advised by 4 different pool specialists that if the water level was low, it would cause reduced water pressure, not increased water pressure as Unified Contractors claimed.

Phone calls are not answered.
FNHW will not release the findings from Unified Contractors and Unified Contractors can not be reached.

It is clear that this company simply rejects all claims.

I am now expected to pay out of pocket for a 2nd opinion when this company should not have been used in the first place.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
FNHW SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!

Do not use this company!!
Their technician came out to find the source of a leak in my jacuzzi. He blamed the leak on the filter being due for service instead of the cracked pipe. The leak is due to a crack in the pipe not the filter. He then left and the following day when my pool guy came by there was water everywhere because he didn't close the valve. Now my jacuzzi has debris in it. I do not recommend this company. They will not answer the phone nor return calls.

Took days of calling to get an appointment scheduled. The technician then came and suggesting turning on/off the Spa in order to fix the problem (as if I hadn't tried it already), and went to leave my home.

I then asked him to wait while I restarted and it became clear that this wasn't the issue - the water wasn't heating. I asked him to open it up and take a look. He did, and after a minute, he reported that the pumps were corroded and that was the problem.

The pumps and jet's work fine, he paid no attention to the symptoms I reported (hot tub not heating) and attention to detail was poor - all he did was glance at one of the components. Given that there's $1000+ at stake in terms of repair, plus the call out charge, I expect a more thorough diagnosis. Grossly incompetent.
