I reached out in August 2024 to have some foundation and water issues addressed. My first appointment in early September was a "no show" and I called the office. It must have been a mix up, because it wasn't on their calendar. Not a big deal accidents happen. I waited about 3 more weeks to have some look at our house. I gave Brent a few weeks to give me a quote before I started checking in. Eventually I was calling weekly to the point that the office staff almost seemed embarrassed that I still didn't have a quote. Apparently ever other person he saw that week received theirs. This went on until December and I ultimately gave up. I never received a quote. It turns out Brent is the owner and he simply doesn't seem to care. To make things worse, I'm positive that you don't want this company working on your house. Brent informed me at our visit that since I have a drive in basement that I had no frost footer in my house and that there was not true remedy besides jacking up the house and gutting the entire foundation and building it "right". I just had the work done by another company last week. There is definitely a proper footer that goes 4 feet down. They were able to prove this to me on site during the bid by simply probing for it with a metal bar. Now that the work is complete, I have literally seen this footer when they dug it up and installed helical piers (Brent said this was impossible). Brent's proposal to address my water issues was using a carbon fiber patch is debatable a many other contractors said it either wouldn't work or wasn't designed for block walls only poured ones. This company was a waste of time, but fortunately I didn't waste my money. Look elsewhere.

Tri-State Basement Repair went above and beyond for us. Given the very wet summer we've had, they were inundated with calls but Fred squeezed us in by coming over on Memorial Day, hand delivering the quote to expedite the process, and Bruce completed the job in less than 2 weeks to save our real estate closing. It's hard to find that level of service these days. Thank you Fred and Bruce!

Tri State saved our house...simple as that. Six years ago, we bought an old farmhouse in Adams Co., WI. The basement/crawl space flooded every spring and we learned that the dampness had rotted the main wooden support beam. We were told by an architect our only hope to save the house was to lift it and build a new foundation and floor. We soon learned that was something we could not afford. Tri-State Basement Repair had a better idea. They first dug a new outdoor entrance to the basement, then replaced the rotted beam with a new one made of steel. Then they dug around the perimeter, set drain tiles, and installed a sump-pump to deal with the water problem. All of this for a fraction of the cost of a new foundation. The crew was terrific. Lucas and the guys arrived promptly every morning until the job was done. They were so friendly and were happy to keep us informed as to what they were doing. They worked hard and took pride in what they were doing. When it was done, they cleaned up and even made a special trip to to replace a leaky drain hose. My wife and I could not be happier with the job Tri State Besement Repair did for us. We highly recommend them.

We had two egress windows installed in our basement at a property in central WI. We considered four companies and selected TriState Basement Repair. Their bidding and contract process was very straightforward. Their pricing was reasonable (not the cheapest and not the most expensive). They were able to schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time. The workers worked quickly and efficiently and were very polite. The installation was well done with quality materials. I would recommend them to a friend and will consider them as we seek to have other work done to the property.

We had a basement window replaced, and window-well dug out. The work looks fine (we haven't had a big rain to test it out yet) but our interactions with the business office were pretty terrible. There are some simple things they could do to improve interactions with customers that would make the experience much better.

We got a quote in summer, 2019, and they had to delay the install to May, 2020 due to weather - which I fully understand. But then they billed us every month for the work, despite monthly calls from me to request that they stop, because the work was never done. When the May install date finally came around, I had to call them to make sure they were still coming, then went and dug up (at their recommendation) our plants around the window. When they showed up, they had the wrong window and had to order a new one. The annoying thing is that the crew knew they had the wrong window before leaving the shop, and they could have just called me to ask for measurements to make sure. This delayed the project for another one and a half months, during which time I received more bills with increasing "late payment" charges.

The window is finally in - a year later - and I hope it's in good shape. So their crew gets a good review. But their business office / scheduling / etc. needs to communicate with the crews and their receptionist to improve the experience. If you go with Tri-State, just be vigilant about keeping records.

Hard to write this review. We had previously had a great experience with Tri-state at our previous residence (in 2016), however, this time around it didn't go so well. The crew was loud (shouting to each other) and often used profanity. They jackhammered into our sewer pipe, which was our responsibility to fix per: the contract. They also had the wrong encapsulation on hand, then when ordering the correct one, received the wrong on by the company, resulting in many delays for us. They concreted our dryer vent closed on accident and promised to fix it when they returned to encapsulate the walls. They forgot and took off without stating they had finished. They offered to take $100 of of our $7,000+ bill for the encapsulation error. Not the best customer service. Hopefully they'll be able to turn things around.

We were not impressed with the quality of the workmanship after meeting with the sales technician to discuss and seeing what the work crew installed. They did come back to fix their workmanship, however, the follow of the repair did not correct the issue and left our home unusable for several days due to the chemicals they applied without providing us any prior notice. Going on day three and we still cannot close our windows. Overall disappointed in the workmanship and communication of the labor crews.
