I manage a 1910 3-story apartment building called The Thayer in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Carlos' team did an AMAZING job on the roof replacement! Carlos took care of all the permitting with the City of Sacramento and met all of their requirements, which is no easy feat for a building this old! He and the crew handled the entire project professionally and efficiently. Part of the way through the process, a water line was hit which caused leaking inside the building + a couple apartments. Carlos responded to the incident and took care of everything immediately- and I really mean EVERYTHING. He paid for and had his crew take care of and cover all of the damages, carpet cleaning, etc. Carlos was superb at communicating with me and went above and beyond the whole project. He was also great about making sure everything was water-tight before any raining. I truly could not ask for a better experience. The owners even favored Carlos so much that they are now interested in having him work on other projects around the building. If you are considering Tolteca, look no further!

Carlos did an awesome job fixing my roof! Not only was communication always clear, but he was very quick in responding to all my questions. He came in on Tuesday to check on my roof and advised he would be coming back with all the necessary tools and materials. Only two days later he came back with everything ready and my roof is all done! Overall it was a smooth process and great experience, their quality work speaks for itself. Highly recommend!

Carlos was professional, and his communication was clear. He changed my home’s electrical panel and water heater. The job was done on auto pilot and I never had to get involved, which relieved me of stress. He took care of the inspections, and coordination with the utility company! Awesome contractor!

I have met with many contractors about converting my garage into an ADU and I can promise you that Carlos is 100% the most professional, knowledgable, timely, and responsive person you will deal with. His expertise and background in construction is shown through his ability to explain engineering plans, timelines, inspection processes, all interior and exterior construction stages and more was impressive. He met with me on several occasions to thoroughly explain what to expect in the conversion process, hidden costs, and other components i was not considering. I cannot speak more highly of Carlos and would work with him again any time!
