A beautiful home, a great experience and budget conscious. TK delivered on our first new build. The only surprise we had was when we called with a concern and three people, including the owner, showed up on our door step to address it the next day.
Customize your own plan or use one of theirs, we did both incorporating designs from several TK houses to make this home our own.
Great subs, friendly and accommodating staff and a monthly budget update to the penny.
Building a house was a piece of cake and I don't hear many people say that.

Completed our project with TK in July of 2020. I've built several homes over the years and can honestly say that TK was the most organized and responsive GC I've worked with. They had a great ability to translate what I was looking for in a home into the finished product. Martin, Brian, Brian, Dennis, and Jenn were great. Project came in on budget and time. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality home builder.

TK Morrison is NOT for you if you prefer a construction company that provides great customer service and attention to detail for their private clientele. When building a house to make it your home, you hope to work with a company who doesn’t hire low quality subcontractors. Instead, TK made repeated excuses for their subs, and claimed we (their customer) were difficult because we wanted perfection that they clearly couldn’t provide. Those were their words, not ours. If you’re an investor, looking for a quick turnaround from subpar contractors without any concern for the quality or craftsmanship of the job, then this might be the right fit. When we initially met with TK, they were enthusiastic about the project. As we sat down to discuss blueprints and begin planning our home, we were questioned, ridiculed, and criticized by the architect, with no support from TK Morrison. A red flag had surfaced, that unfortunately we didn’t see as an indicator of what was yet to come. The project manager assigned to us became a nightmare to work with. Due to a mix-up on their part, we sacrificed getting the exterior paint color we wanted, although (remember) we were difficult customers. We have a terrible interior paint job that we paid almost $9k for that we simply have to deal with. They completely botched the HVAC system and refused to make it right. Put the furnace in the wrong spot, missed 2 vents on the main level, and most of the vents on the second floor aren’t producing enough air. Their “solution” to this issue was to install intrusive new ducts, another item we simply have to deal with due to their neglect of detail in planning. Dennis was the only employee who showed genuine interest in successful completion of our home. The owners didn’t congratulate us or make sure we were happy. They also didn’t understand why we want our glass shower door installed correctly. You know, because who cares that it’s crooked if it works? We are in our home and happy – albeit not completely satisfied. Our build was finished in 2017, and this is based on our experience, perhaps they have improved. The details we’ve shared, among other items, are a variety of reasons that we personally wouldn’t recommend this company for something as big a milestone as building your home.

TK Morrison is simply THEE best construction contractor in the entire Denver Metro area. From start to finish, their management team and expertise was 5-STAR, including services and skills provided by all their subcontractors. TK Morrison and most importantly - their product - stands out from other construction firms. Our initial contact with TK Morrison occurred years before we started the project; this was our first experience with new-build construction of a new single family home and we were nervous. The owners were patient with all our questions and concerns, and took the time to carefully outline the entire process including our upfront pre-construction responsibilities, anticipated out-of-pocket costs, the construction loan process, energy/sustainability components, zoning/permitting/inspection issues, and the construction budget and schedule. We are employed in the design industry and we are picky...and TK was accommodating with our inquiries and requests, both before the project started and during construction. Requests for changes during construction were welcomed and analyzed so that we understood the impact to both the construction budget and the schedule. Our project came in under budget, was completed on time (even during COVID when construction materials are hard to get) and the final product contributes to the character of the neighborhood. The entire TK team of project managers and on-site supervisors are professional and knowledgable. I would not hesitate to hire this company and team again (including Brixton Real Estate) and highly recommend them for the construction of new homes. Note: we continue to work with their unparalleled team of subcontractors on other projects.

We are so happy with how our house turned out and so glad that we chose to work with TK Morrison. They were clear with communications, updated timelines frequently, kept us up to date with any changes and made this whole stressful process as painless as possible. Right from the start of the project they had us go through all of our selections to get some of the decision making out of the way, and as deadlines approached reminded us to review in case we had made any changes (of course we had! but their reminders kept most all from becoming issues later). We had early delays in the winter due to weather which was out of their control, and once the project was really underway they worked hard to make up some of that time. All in all Martin was fantastic as our project manager, Chris was supportive and realistic as the supervising contractor and Matt kept us very updated as the site supervisor towards the end of construction. Also, they do a walk through at 60 days and 1 year post construction to sort out any issues that arise post construction which seems very thorough. We are thrilled and so grateful with the work done with TK.

I called TK Morrison Construction to see if they had any masks to share as I am a hearing specialist and need some for my business...the owner said he only had 2 left, and offered to give them to me. Wow! I can't say anything about their construction, but what an amazing individual to offer his last masks. I'm not going to take his last ones, but thank you so much for the selfless offer! If I ever have construction needs, I know who to call.

We chose TK Morrison to build a duplex for us and couldn't be happier with our choice of companies. They were professional, communicative, timely and easy to work with on all fronts. If we were to build again we would choose them again!
