How fortunate we were to work with Joe and Paige on the building of your new home. This was our first ever build of a new home and prior to the start of the process, it was very intimidating to us. The challenges were compounded in that our entire building project was done while we lived in another state. However, the trust and communication that we had and have together in them was there from day one and we always knew that our build would be done with our best interests in mind. We don't just refer to them as our builders but also as our friends. The entire crew including Scott and Hunter and the subcontractors showed to be quite the craftsmen and experts in the field and the finished product reflects that. It may be hard to believe, but we had very few surprises along the way which was a testament to their foresight and professionalism. We love our new home and love living in Algoma, all made possible by Thompson Homes!

I had the whole living area of my ranch home, remodeled by Thompson Homes. Paige, one of the owners, developed a design that had excellent use of my limited space. She was very helpful in collaborating on the choice of tile, cabinets, flooring, etc. to make the space as usable as possible. The quality of the carpentry was very precise. After living with this remodel for a couple years I still love everything Thompson Homes did. This is my forever home!

My wife and I recently built our new home with Thompson Homes and the entire process from design through construction went extremely smooth and was stress free. From day one, we felt like Joe and Paige were working with us, always with our best interests in mind. Paige listened to what we wanted in our home and made suggestions for things we had not considered. Once construction started Joe was on site daily working with his subcontractors ensuring everything was done correctly and above our expectations. If we had any questions, they were answered thoroughly and timely. We could talk to Joe or Paige at any time as they are very approachable. Throughout the process Joe and Paige stressed quality construction and we believe we received great value for the work by everyone involved in the construction. We highly recommend building or remodeling with Thompson Homes. They did an awesome job on our new house, and we couldn’t be happier.

Thompson Homes designed and built our house 32 years ago. When we started talking about building a family cabin last year, we didn’t look any further than Paige and Joe! Having a quality home last us over three decades with minimal upgrades needed, we knew we wanted their expertise to design and build a cabin that our family can enjoy for generations to come! The entire process was very enjoyable and stress free. Paige was very much involved in the design process, taking us around to all the vendors to pick out the finishes, always offering suggestions for things we didn’t think of. We highly recommend Thompson Homes for any new build! We couldn’t be happier in our home and now our family cabin!

We had served in the Army for over 20yrs and accumulated some unique and large furniture, Paige and Joe actually designed our home around them for a perfect fit. Hello Paige,
It was a real pleasure to chat with you the other day regarding my neighbor's home project. You should know that we have been in our Thompson home now for nearly thirty years and still are in love with it and its design and construction. We still receive compliments on our home to this day when we have visitors, family and neighbors visiting. At the time( 30 y/o) our desire for an open design in the kitchen with functionality was a considered a bit unusual. Your insight and design skills helped us achieve our goal and we still have yet to see a similar design in other homes we see. We love it. At times we have had as many as 12 people sit around our "peninsula design" kitchen table and the family atmosphere created is priceless.
The custom woodworking and millwork, a Thompson feature, was well worth the investment. We have not seen anything like it in similar homes as ours. As you know, stained glass has been a huge part of out lives for many years. The design features in our home have allowed us to incorporate stained glass transoms, wall skonzes, and lighting throughout the home. A tour of our home by visitors is often a delight and it surprises them when we show the creativity we have been able to build into this home.
We are on our second roof now, no surprise, and the roofing company was very complimentary on our home construction when they installed the roof.
Our added sun room, which was added several years after we moved in, is still one of the most popular rooms in the home, all year around. And it lights up with glass colors as the sun brightens our days.
If you have a chance, please share with your father, our continuing love for Thompson Homes. We have been blessed in so many ways in our lives, and Thompson Homes is clearly one of those blessings.
Thirty years after we built, we still love our home, its features and quality of construction and craftsmanship. Not many can say that, proudly, but we certainly can.

Thompson Homes should get 10 stars! They do not miss any details and are attentive to even the smallest one. As a realtor, I have sold & viewed hundreds of new homes, so I have a good base for comparison, and I feel they are TOP NOTCH! Joe & Paige are honest, hard working, caring, smart, detail oriented home builders whose goal is your happiness & comfort. Their initial bids were pretty much spot on, so no surprises in our budget was a great thing during the home building process, (Probably the most difficult item these days with changing costs and inflation). They kept us informed and included in every step along the way, so excellent communication skills were yet another key ingredient to our success. Joe was always on the job site coordinating our needs/desires/wants in addition to what we initially asked for (always pointing out little extra's that we hadn't thought of) and his close work with contractors was another reason the project of building our new home was so successful. Paige was amazing during the design process and also pointed out things we would never have thought to ask for that resulted in a unique design versus looking like every other home. She guided us through the interior selections while allowing us to create a look specific to what we would LOVE. Their son was also involved and available to help when needed so we were never left alone. The contractors they used are all standing behind their work and that is a really big thing! Can't say enough great things about this HOME BUILDER TEAM! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BUILDING US OUR NEW HOME.

Paige, Joe and the Thompson Team helped us do a major remodel. Our home is about 3300 sq. ft. We did just about everything for a complete refresh of the paint and floors, along with a major master bath remodel, island and dry bar addition, install of new gas fireplace, addition of new lighting all throughout the home, removal of walls in basement, and laundry room gut and remodel. It was totally custom all the way. From the first meeting with Paige going through all the options and designs, coordinating colors and styles, she was very helpful in helping us bring it all together. Paige, Joe and their foreman and crew, were professional, responsive and caring before, during and after. This large of a remodel is bound to have some snags and delays but they were reasonable and built in cushion to expect these and still finish on time and within the budget. We highly recommend and would use again for another project or new build.
