I had an appointment with the dermatologist. Upon arrival I was told that the doctor left the practice over 3 weeks prior to my appointment. I never received a phone call or any sort of notification. I ended up seeing a physician's assistant who gave me a cursory look of my face for any signs of cancer. She seemed efficient but she was not a doctor and I'm wondering who are they going to Bill my insurance and for what reason if I was never seen by a doctor.

I could have given it two stars, i guess, but i want to make the point clearly. What once was a luxury builiding in the Bronx, the "jewel" of Riverdale, has been run down by the management, to a sloppy mess. Newer folks at the desk do not communicate well, often the desks at back and in the garage are unattended, the heating/cooing system, created i the 1970's, leaks and floods the wood floors routinely, and the decor in the hallways is something our of American Gothic, very dark and dreary - although it was redecorated not long ago, the selections made were very, very retro - as in, back to the Dark Ages.

All in all, with so may beautiful updated and new choices to make in this area, I hate to say, it, but this is no longer "the one". Now, this could change on a dime if the powers that be had a shift in their willingness to restore this building to greatness - but for now, I would rate this either "eh" or "uh uh". Not quite "yikes", but, again, that is just for today.

This is a decent building in a nice area. You may pay a lot of rent, but you get amenities like a doorman and storage, and convenience access to the fitness center. Not bad at all.
