I moved here in 2009. As a native, born, raised and lived in NYC for 6 decades, I think my opinion may be of value. Every time I have needed a repair -- HVAC, various plumbing repairs/replacement, bulbs too high to reach... the faucet broke off (like a Stooges film) during our New Years Eve party -- the fellow who was sent to fix was capable, had the right tools, and cleaned up. I enjoy the nightlife. This is the only building that I've lived that the lobby staff in not just awake and on duty, but is actually attentive to the degree that they are aware of any pedestrian or vehicle on the property. I was shocked and saddened to read Angel's bad experience. The staff is very diverse, whether the residents are (in comparison) I don't know, but staff only lacks for 2 major demographics: women, and Asian Pacific, which is the same for over 90% of our peer group. I feel it is a privilege, and a pleasure to be lucky to live here.

I would rather live in the slums of a third world nation then to live in a building that is full of staff who are constantly being disrespectful and racist towards people of color and of Latin decent. Had a AirBNB reservation and was treated so poorly and disrespected a cancel my reservation immediately and got a hotel in midtown .

Quite Impressive. We have been looking for a Coop for the past year and this place surpasses the scores of other apartments we have seen. It is very well staffed, the lobby is spacious and there is valet parking. The apartment that we saw was spacious with all sorts of impressive pluses like a 2nd service door for each apartment and 2 apartments to.a floor. Wish I had looked at this place before I wasted my time seeing 20 other apartments on the UES.
