My wife and I wanted to put up a partition between the kitchen and the living room so that we didn’t heat up the whole house if we were cooking.

We found Richard on line and he came out took measurements gave some suggestions and we ended up with this beautiful piece of art that functions folding barn door.

We absolutely love it and it’s one of the most complemented parts of the house that we have.

Fast-forward about four years since it’s been done and my English bulldog decided to do a superman run and head but it.

It just wasn’t closing as smoothly as it did so I took a chance and I texted Richard. he responded immediately, came out, took a look at it and fixed it.

and then was just done, I’m pulling out my wallet and he says oh no, there’s no charge. It was an easy fix.

Are you kidding me? Who does a free service call these days and if there were to be a warranty on anything it would have long expired.

if you are looking for a barn style type door and you don’t want some cheap rickety cardboard door that you can find at Walmart or Home Depot give the carpenter shop a try

You won’t be disappointed.

Richard repaired/replaced the sliders on my antique oak table at a reasonable price! Not sure if the table's really 100 years old, but I've owned it for 45 years and bought it used. He did a wonderful restoration job, made and kept appointments, was very professional as well as personable. I would highly recommend The Carpenter's Shop in San Miguel!
