We built a Terrace home and I waited 6 months to give an honest review. We custom designed our home we did not pick from the models.. They have been fantastic! They let us view each step of the process. Exciting to watch your home be built! The home is beautiful. They will take care of any issue you have. They stand by their product 100%!! Ruth, Mark, Katie, Matt, Misty and Rhonda have all went out of their way to see we were satisfied. We would do it all again in a heartbeat!! We checked the workmanship and homes from many companies and we are so glad we went with Terrace. You get a quality home at a competitive price.. 5 stars all the way. We are 6 months out and if we called with a concern they would help in a second.
We built a second new home in 2020. This time we went with Miles Contracting in Wisconsin Rapids.. OMG the new home is beautiful!!! We built almost the same home both times.. Have to say Miles went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect!! The price was lower than the Terrace home. I will say both companies were nice but the Miles home is out of this world beautiful!! So many more choices and the quality is stunning!! Nick Miles was a complete joy to work with!!!! If we build again it would be with Miles as their quality can not be beat!!!

So let's get something straight, I don't give a crap about some unreturned phone call, or if Terrace builds in your area, or whatever!!!! Are the Terrace builds "solid and quality" is the question? And I say ABSOLUTELY!!!! I live in a Terrace home, built in 2006 in a subdivision that went bankrupt and i can say 100% that this is one of the best built houses I've ever lived in. I've lived in 8 since childhood, custom built ones at that, since I've been a kid. This house is damn near bombproof...... It has 2"x12" floor joists with 1" subfloor, 2"x6" walls, full insulation, weather shield wrap, good vinyl windows, good flooring, good doors, a solid roof. Did we have some settling cracks, YES!!!!! Guess what, we fixed them...... Done, move on. We are in the process of looking at another Terrace build because they are a quality home and if the new build is like this one, I will live my final days in a Terrace home. Thank you Terrace Homes for what you do!!!!

The properties were beautiful and exceptional! However the plans that they have drawn up should be allowed to be altered and not a mandatory packaging bid. I mean, what if you don't want the center Island in the kitchen, what if you would rather put a furnace or a water heater in a closet that you know you won't use, why is it mandatory to install a basement if all you need is a simple crawl space. The lowest priced house was $200,000. I could easily go without some of the features and cut cost to make affordable living for all

Unwilling to work with anyone from Illinois despite being in northern Illinois (closer to them than most of Wisconsin) and nothing on the website says only Wisconsin. They said it is due to codes, when asking questions because code in my county wouldn’t be an issue they said it’s actually because of licensing for trucking also. When I asked if I could setup the trucking they said flat out no. Unwilling to provide any solutions that aren’t cookie cutter so they must not need the business. Reading other comments it seems like they are also less willing than other modular companies to customize despite their website saying they do and are higher in price. Seems like it’s a good thing they gave me a hard no because they obviously aren’t good to work with to be flexible. I’ll take my money elsewhere. Good luck to you.

Great experience with our home. Sarah has been wonderful to work with and we love our new house! The model village is great for getting ideas but it's nice that everything can be completely customized once you decide on things you like. Sarah was very prompt at responding to emails and questions, which we had a lot of!

Nice houses, pricing averages a little high for modular builds. Design looks and functional features are nice but each model home has a few things that just do not make sense. Areas of wasted space in smaller home designs. Quality seems good.

We enjoyed touring the 9 model homes that were set up. It was a bit warm that day, so some of the houses were very hot inside. It was fun to see the different decorating and the house styles.

My son built a home and moved in Dec. 2012. To date they still have not fixed the basement steps that they screwed up when building the home. Also a couple other small repairs are needed. I built a home and moved in Jan 2014. To date they still have numerous things to complete or repair. I have left many text messages and voice messages and no one including Mark will respond. I love my house but once they got my money they did some things but refuse to respond to do the final items that need completion or repair. I would not build with them again and would not give final payment until everything is completed. I have also found out now that they have installed my siding improperly and that is why many of their homes are now having water problems. My composit deck was also not anchored properly and some of it is a different level now.
