We used Tanoak Construction to remodel our primary bath to make it ADA compliant. It features a curbless shower with a built in bench, and custom placed grab bars. Dave Bowman is wonderful to work with. He is reasonably priced for quality work, timely and communicated clearly throughout the project. His employees and subcontractors were skilled, professional and tidy. We recommend Tanoak for any construction project. I'm sure we will use him again in the near future.

Tanoak was AMAZING! They built a beautiful addition onto our home, including a primary bedroom/bathroom suite, a new hallway, and a laundry room. They worked with us and our architect to match the period and style of our home on both the exterior and interior. They matched the trim hardwood, window, exterior, and other detail work perfectly. Tanoak worked with us so we could live in the house while they did this work, which was no small feat in itself! Moreover, they came in around budget and time frame! Finally, they are just really good guys to have around the house. When you undergo a big renovation project, it's important to know that the people are good communicators and easy-going, on top of being skilled craftsman. We just couldn't be happier with the project!

Tanoak completed a significant interior, exterior, bathroom and kitchen renovation after the fires and into the Covid pandemic. They managed to keep the schedule, despite numerous surprises in this 1947 vintage house. Deeply knowledgeable and well connected with skilled subcontractors, they completed this project to perfection. We’ve since had them back for two other projects. If you want someone you can trust for excellent workmanship and a fair contract, look no further.

Gant and the Tanoak team remodeled our bathroom in the summer of 2023. I really appreciated that Gant was a great listener who patiently helped us develop our vision for the remodel. Finding responsive contractors who truly care about their clients and workmanship is near impossible to find these days. With over a decade of home renovation projects under our belt we have experienced it all. We absolutely lucked out in coming across Tanoak. Gant and his team helped us with both a front entry addition and new custom front door. Both Gant and his team are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They took care in keeping the construction area tidy at the end of each day and were extremely patient as our kids trampled through the project. Gant was quick to respond to all calls and questions during the entire project and upon completion he made sure we were fully satisfied with the finished product.
