My family lucked out with having the opportunity to live in a home built by Straight Ahead Construction. It’s a dream home nestled in the boreal forest. All of the details of the home were well planned and strategically selected. The home is beautifully built and a major bonus is the energy efficiency which has saved our family money in heating and electric bills. Mike has been great with communication and I highly recommend when considering a build or home renovation. Very high quality craftsmanship and design!

Straight Ahead construction added a bathroom in my 1940 house basement and I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Not only they provided advise on what do to with the space, they also worked with me to help me save a bit of $, and I appreciated that they worked with me despite being a fairly small but complicated job (old house, weird plumbing, etc) . I really enjoyed working with Mike and would highly recommend him.

Mike even scheduled our mega job + coordinated its completion within a weather window which accommodated complete removal, repair, and replacement of our deteriorating roof prior to a week of constant rain and torrential downpours. Thanks Mike, for the excellent scheduling, and to all of the crews/crew members for the caring and professional work which now has us comfy, cozy, dry and warm under our steel roof with foam insulation! And, just in time for the rain . . . we are enjoying the music of the rain falling on the roof, and then down the gutters.

Straight Ahead Construction does a great job! Mike and his crew are very hard working, courteous, and experienced. We truly enjoyed having them working on our home - after so many weeks they were almost like family.
Most importantly, they did a great job of working with us. Mike agreed to meet with us even though he had a nearly full schedule. We had a fairly large remodel planned and Mike listened carefully to our needs. He found a way to make our plans work on our timeline, when other contractors turned us down.
He gave us realistic estimates for the work, his crew was always on time and cleaned up every day before they went home.
When changes needed to be made, we discussed options and knew the costs before moving forward.
The end result was a beautiful new kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, master bath and much more, completed on time.
We look forward to having them back soon to complete the rest of our remodel plans.

Mike was professional and so very easy to communicate with. He sent his crew out to completely replace our roof! The roofing team, Jordan and Michael, did a phenomenal job. Jordan is extremely hard working and went above and beyond to help us out and explain everything he was working on. My husband and I were very impressed with Straight Ahead Construction when they replaced our roof this summer. We are even living out of state and felt completely assured we were getting quality work done on our rental house in Alaska. Mike was SO helpful and professional every step of the way, so easy to get ahold of, patient in answering any questions, and offered many helpful suggestions and explanations for us as we were making decisions on our roof. In the end we decided on a green roof color, which he said was out of stock with the regular company he uses, but he took the initiative to locate another company who sells a green color, and was able to special order it for $500 extra (simply due to different pricing from that company), which we decided was worth it. Before choosing Straight Ahead, I got quotes from several other roofing companies in the area and found Straight Ahead's pricing to be on par with the competition, but I went with Mike because of his clear communication over the phone and his quick responsiveness, and his candidness in making recommendations that showed me he really cares about his customers. He truly goes above and beyond and you will not be disappointed with the process or the results. He even sent me pictures of the house to show progress and the finished product without me asking for pictures, which I thought was very considerate. We will definitely be calling them again if we have any other roofing needs!

Last spring I discovered some wood rot at the base of the wall in my garage. I contacted several contractors to get quotes on the repair. After contacting Straight Ahead Construction, Mike came out the following day and gave me a thorough assessment of what needed to be done and assured me my garage wasn’t going to fall in on it’s self before repairs could be made. So with that information I took my time and got several quotes. I decided to go with Straight Ahead as Mike seamed very knowledgeable and honest. When I let Mike know I wanted him to do the work he informed me what his schedule was like and when he could start work. When his team arrived I was happy to see how quickly they went to work. There seemed to be a good game plan, and their work was well orchestrated. I was very pleased with the level of professionalism and good communication throughout the process. The work was finished in less time than originally predicted and ended up costing less than the original estimate. Over all I couldn’t be happier with the work done and I would highly recommend Straight Ahead Construction to anyone looking for honest quality work.
