We were recommended to utilize Stortz by Kling Landscape. We had a vision of an outdoor living space structure but needed a company that could create our vision from scratch and make sure it would be of high quality and have a stable foundation for Wisconsin winter wear and tear. Nick Stortz was amazing to work with. His lead Carpenter Zach, was phenomenal. We have 2 young boys and he let them watch him and his crew build from our back porch and it absolutely meant a lot to our family how friendly everyone was. If you are in the market for a custom build that's a little outside of building an entire home, I'd recommend working with Nick and his team any day.

After constructing our home in 2014, we again chose Stortz to finish our basement in 2021. I can’t say enough good things about the care and customer service that we received from Dave throughout the entire process- from carefully putting together a plan and budget to the final inspection. Dave made sure that things got done correctly and helped keep organized work that still needed to be done, often pointing out flaws that we may have missed. They even came back and fixed some things that were beginning to go wrong in other parts of our house.

I have high remarks for all of the subcontractors that helped make sure the lighting, windows, plumbing and HVAC work was what we wanted. We love the finished product and highly recommend Stortz for their careful attention to their customers throughout the project!

I had Dave come over to the property for a addition quote. Never received a quote, didn't respond back to emails or call back. On top of that, they keep sending me promotional emails that you can't unsubscribe from. Thanks for wasting my time.

As I continue to get promotional emails from Tim, Dave is the person who came to the property.

Where are these false facts coming from?

Fact: We never talked about contacting the village about a secondary structure permissions, that is completely false.

Fact: Dave was supposed to get back to me about seeing if the pitch and slope would work with the structure. He never got back to me.

Fact: I never received a follow up from Dave, so you assume that the customer isn't interested anymore?

Clearly, there is a break down in communication on Dave and Tim's part. They saw a project they they couldn't handle nor want to put any energy in. I've had contractors at the house for quotes and all of them have communicated back to me.

This company with 20 years of of "High level" experience looked past my goals and didn't give me a chance to be a customer, while all the other companies gave me a quote.
