As a loyal customer who likes to support local businesses, especially one in the town that I live in I am incredibly disappointed with that customer service provided by this company and more specifically by David in regard to how he handled my experience with them last Friday 11/01/24. For context, I had ordered gravel just as I did in the previous year to be delivered at my ranch. Unfortunately, I was unable to be at the ranch at the delivery time that was set, but was there within half an hour. While, there were some mix ups with the delivery time, I was not made aware of a surcharge made to the customer should the delivery time not be conducted at the time given. I only found out that I was going to be charged extra after the delivery driver had already delivered the gravel. I apologized to the driver and owner for the slight delay in time. After speaking over the phone with David, and expressing my frustrations and disappointment that we were not made aware of a surcharge he did not apologize about the situation. The customer service that I was expecting from such a well known business was not given to me. I want to let others know that they should ask about any hidden surcharges or fees before placing an order for delivery so that you don’t have the unpleasant experience that I had.

Staff and office people are great. Got the item I wanted quick and loaded.

Needed some sand, got a truck load for about 75 bucks or so. In and out in less than 1 hr.

Would recommend this business if you're in the general Hanford, Lemoore area.

Talk about customer service, well, let me tell you. I had called earlier, prior to coming in and spoke to a very knowledgeable person. He described the various types of soils available, and even provided some prices. My sister and I made the trip from Kingsburg, and were pleasantly surprised by being greeted by the same person that had provided me with the info. He was most courteous as he mentioned that he would be right with us, as soon as he finished assisting his with his customer. We mentioned that we were not in any hurry. He finished up and we then proceeded to tell him what we were looking for. He told us to follow the loader to the location, and once loaded, to come back and pay. We got the soil loaded and then proceeded to pay. As I was waiting, I mentioned to not forget to charge us for the T-shirt, he said..."on the house for our waiting". I thanked him, and told him that Stoney's runs a tight ship..in light of what's going on with other businesses. And he said, we strive for serving our customers the best we can. This is how business should be done, as this ensures return of happy customers, who will recommend you in the future. I later found out he was the General Manager. Kudos to Stoney's. Stoney's has delivered several truck loads to our little farm. I have been very happy with their service and prices. I will be seeing them again real soon to deliver pea gravel for our new raised bed garden.

We've ordered concrete from here and ordered a specific amount but they sent extra concrete and won't give us credit back, we lost a couple hundred dollars from them even tho it's there fault,this place is a scam and can't do their job correctly.
