When I initially started looking at buying a house, my realtor, Tori Beth Thompson, introduced me to Kim Murphy in Hidden Lakes. Building my own home didn't seem like a possibility with the budget I had set, but Kim proved me wrong. I was most interested in three plans, and the one I liked best on paper wasn't currently being built locally, so we were going to travel to Georgia to see it. But Kim made a call to a couple who had recently closed on the plan I liked, and they were so gracious to let us come see it. It was fabulous, and it's the hone Stone Martin built for me. That was just the beginning! During my build, Kim promptly replied to every text/call, answered every question (I had a bunch) and concern (I had very few) and I took care of me and my house every step of the way! I loved all the celebration meetings at the completion of several phrases. Kim was there for all of them; she is just absolutely the BEST. I now consider her a dear friend!

Kim Murphy….I honestly don’t even know where to start!!!! She is one of the most beautiful (inside and out), talented, and dedicated woman I’ve ever met! From the day I first walked into the model home and she introduced herself, she made me feel like I had known her all my life! So needless to say it took absolutely no time at all to know my hubby had chosen the right builder, SMB and I knew immediately Kim was the one to not only work for them but chose her to represent us. Once we made our decision to build, for the three days we had prior to flying back to Alaska, Kim worked tirelessly to ensure we had time to make not only our contract decisions but most of our 10 day options as well. She sat with me in the model office showing me everything she possibly could. She had the patience of a saint and displayed her expertise to assist me with my decisions. Once we returned to Alaska back in September 2022, week after week she sent us updates and sometimes daily answered questions either by text or phone with a three hour time difference regardless of the time. She’s been absolutely incredible to us and our process!!! Once we arrived back to Opelika in February 2023, she welcomed us with open arms, met us at both walkthroughs and ensured things went accordingly! And indeed they did! We have been in our absolutely perfect new home for almost 18 months now and still yet there is nothing I would change about it. My hubby and I both love Opelika and our home in Hidden Lakes not to mention the amenities they have to offer. We knew as soon as we drove through HL, this was going to be our new neighborhood. Kim is still as incredible as she was the day I met her, her personality is infectious. Our neighbors are genuine, caring people who have been great to us!!! HL is simply put, a great place to live.

We found Hidden Lakes in January of 2024. Our first experience with our agent, Kim Murphy was excellent. Kim spent countless hours showing us houses, discussing options, answering emails, calls and texts. The contractors, and other agents of Stone Martin showed this same level of commitment. This is all what one would expect prior to signing on the dotted line. Since closing on May 1st our opinion of Kim Murphy and Stone Martin has changed. We have BEEN BLOWN AWAY by their continued commitment to provide EXCELLENT follow up care. A warranty is only as good as the paper it is written on. We have had a few very minor problems and one phone call or email was all it took to have problems addressed and repaired immediately. This is the reason for my review!!! Kim and her team are AMAZING and if you are in the market for a BEAUTIFUL well built new home you simply must check out Hidden Lakes!!! Oh, and the 2 beautiful pools, covered pavilion, 2 lakes, green spaces and close proximity to the Sports Plex and I-85 are only icing on the cake!!!

Kim Murphy and Katey Tomlin are a joy to work with!! I love the location of Hidden Lakes. Tucked back behind the Opelika Sportsplex and a hop skip and a jump from Tiger Town. The SMB Team is fabulous! They build a beautiful, high quality product at a reasonable price.
