I hired Jeff and Joe after doing a background of other projects that they had completed. I hired them to build a 12ft x 30ft "California Room" on the rear of my home in Murrieta starting December 26, 2016, from the day they started till the project was completed 8 weeks later, their quality of their construction and of their sub contractors was outstanding. During this 8 week period we were delayed 9 days due to rain, however they still worked on the project. Since my job started with removing existing concert slab to over seeing pouring of new colored concert, framing the walls and the roof, including laying new concert roof tiles, the construction site was always neat and clean before the day was over. Being a retired Chief of Police, I consider myself having good judgment of others, I have no quams in recommending these two brothers.

Stephens Brothers built an ADU for us in our backyard. Although there were some delays (no fault of the contractor), they were very communicative during the whole process. I would recommend them for their work, communication and attention to detail when it comes to managing the project & subcontractors. We couldn't be more happy with this entire project from start to finish!

We hired Stephens Brothers Construction to do a room addition, remodel our kitchen and install new flooring throughout our home. Joe and Jeff go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. They are honest, professional and knowledgeable. They were on the job site everyday and were extremely responsive to any questions I had after hours. The job site was kept clean and they finished ahead of schedule. Their sub contractors all did beautiful work as well. I cannot recommend them enough. Joe and his brother are truly artists at what they do! I used other contractors prior to finding them, and you just can't even compare the finished product! This team was amazing! I had other contractor's work on my house prior and none of which could do the job correctly or even show up on time/day they committed too. Calprop came in and knocked it all out in about a week. This job had been going on for 6 months and they handled it in 6 days. This goes to show you the commitment to there company and professionalism. They were always on time and there were is impeccable. Excellent company to go with for your future remodle. If you are considering working with Joe and Jeff (my wife tells me it might be Geoff), pick up the phone, call them, and give them your business. This is the easiest review I will ever write.

We used the Stephens brothers to do a major home remodel in our house in Temecula. We had purchased a new home from Cal Atlantic in 2017, and we wanted to turn it from track home to custom home before we moved in. This included knocking down walls, putting in new flooring throughout, custom cabinetry and built-ins, high-end finishings, an upstairs deck that required changes to the roofline, a bifold accordion door (La Cantina) that required the back wall to be removed and reinforced, a high-end steam shower, and who knows how many other random upgrades across literally every room in the house.

This project was BIG. It required a ton of detail work. They had to sub out on some bits (we had custom welding work on the balcony they put in, for instance). We picked unique materials (reclaimed wood on the over hood, backsplash, a cantilever awning, etc). Joe and team were just on top of everything. They coordinated everything so it happened quickly. They worked alongside other folks to get things done.

But the most impressive bit? The attention to detail was crazy. The quality of the work was flawless. Example: the shower guys didn't get the shower floor set right, so it created a bit of a puddle as it didn't drain. They caught it and fixed it. We didn't have to haggle over cost overruns--they just wanted to get it right.

The communication was phenomenal. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. It's hard to say too much about how great the experience was.

When we had small things come up with the home later, they were always there to answer questions. No pretense. No hassle. Easy business. They referred other workers to us when we needed help on an outdoor leak. They helped us price other projects.

It's rare you find people who you are confident are working on your behalf. To build up that kind of trust speaks to who these two guys are. The work is amazing, no doubt. But the business is so much more than just the work.

Please please please reach out to me if you are hesitating even the slightest. I cannot recommend them enough. Hands down, the best commercial experience I have ever had--and that covers anything I have ever purchased, both products and services. They really are that good.
