Carmelo Sosa is hands-down the best contractor I’ve worked with as a real estate professional or homeowner. Carmelo has a carefully selected team of workers who come every day on time and leave the site clean and tidy at the end of the day. I’ve worked with a lot of other contractors in the past that always come back with massive change orders and nickel and dime you for little things that you as a homeowner would never have thought of. Carmelo has already thought of all those things as there to help you and create best finished product. I always joke with him and say his slogan should be so so construction Dash we make it work because I always ask him crazy ideas and things on the fly and he adapts and makes it work. Our home was built in 1916, and we wanted to bring back some of the original detail you might find in an old craftsman house, and their detailed work on the interior and exterior was immaculate.

When we first hired Carmelo, we read a review that described him as a "rare creature" you only hear about and this is so true - I feel so fortunate that we found him. He is an honest, trustworthy, fair, and all around good contractor that puts the customer first. His crew is polite, punctual, and hard working and Carmelo is very involved. He does the job the RIGHT way, even if it's the harder route always making sure he was lock-step with us the entire time. He re-cemented our garage floor and driveway with rebar, fixed a water pooling/flooding issue, upgraded our fence and retainer wall, removed old brick and repaved our back walkway, redid our front walkway and parkway, replaced our front gate, installed a custom crawlspace door and new vents, and replaced old concrete steps a gorgeous small deck we enjoy everyday now. We couldn't be happier with the final product and are beyond happy we found Carmelo for our future projects! I only hope he doesn't get too busy for us!
