The employees here laugh when you ask them for help. The phone system was done for over a week and when I finally got a hold of someone, they immensely unhelpful.

If I could give a zero I would. Service is horrible, no one wanted to help me. Prices are not clear to understand and promos and pricing is way off. To make matters worse the bathroom is not clean. I thought this was a normal Barnes and Nobles, but it is the university book store.

Purchased a gift card and they didn’t print a gift receipt, could not take a check, and could not do a refund. Very confused because when I came in yesterday they said they could take checks. Hopefully the gift card works!

Pretty standard college bookstore. Lacking in bigger sizes for shirts and things. I did get the magnet that I get every time I hit a new college football stadium.

I generally love the Barnes and Noble experience, but this is not a typical B&N. As official school bookstore for SMU it does a just good enough job. The store hours are very inconvenient for me as a graduate student with a job and a family - I would really appreciate some evening hours on some weekdays.

The SMU paraphernalia is way overpriced. I literally laugh about it with my wife.

That said, they have some convenient online services for ensuring you get the right text books. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. And they always have cool Lego sets for sale, along with a good selection of board games.

Great selection of SMU clothing but very pricey. It would be nice if there was a decent discount section...the Barnes and Noble portion used to be an actual full-size book store but now it's really small and doesn't have a good selection. I was disappointed in the book portion of the store
