My wife and I hired Smith Construction to do stage one of my garage build project remove an old garage slab (12' x 20') and pour new slab for new garage (40' x 40'). i meet with Cory and was impressed as to the knowledge he brought, he answered all my questions and concerns. i was vary amazed at the level of quality and care that Cory (the boss) and his team put in to their projects, i could tell by watching them that i hired the right people for this project as we all know the foundation in any project is the key to a good and quality building. when the destruction started it only took a little more than a day and the area was prep for the third day's poor. these guys work like machines no excessive messing around, your paying them to do a job and they do it.they are VARY mindful of your property and communicate grate with you on everything, the next day came the poor and man i tell you these are the people you want doing yours. i asked for a straight and level and square slab with a smooth surface and i had it by lunch that day. 8/6/19 now for stage two the build. When i came into a glitch with the contractor i hired for that i was devastated thinking that the build would not get done before major snow, i let the other contractor go and called Cory Smith and explained my predicament, he came right over and we sat and we went through the plans, he told me that he could have it up and ruffed in and closed up for winter in ten days, at a fair price mind you, i was like wow really, well people i am hear to say it was in 8 days, then since we have had good weather it got completed with in a couple weeks. that's doing full interior insulation ceiling walls painting and trim base board's, door and openers lights and ceiling fan, mounting heater. (now i bet your saying to yourself that's to fast it can't be straight and square and they took short cuts) i am a fussy man when it comes to building things i invite any people that are thinking of hiring Smith Construction come and look for yourself (bring a level) i 'd be happy to show you. You wont be sorry, i fallowed them everyday and i do own a level and there is not one thing that is not level and square (other than the gutters) contact me through Cory if you would like a tour, to sum up Cory and his team, i can in one sentence. down to earth, fair, respectful and take pride in what they do. My wife and i are so happy with Smith Construction we hired them to do are kitchen, bathroom and mud room remodel stating 1/13/20 ill post when that's done. should only take a week ..hear are a few pic's of the build trust me they don't do them justice. 1/31/20 update to you all we have completed the kitchen ,bathroom and utility room Reno, once again Cory and his team have gone above and beyond and done an outstanding job, we did have a few set backs but do to the fact that this house was built in the early 20"s so it took a bit longer than plan, 2 weeks instead of one but it was nothing they could't handle.
we ripped out the old lower cabinets, counter-tops the old flooring
leveled the floor installed in floor heat new 12 x 12 Periclean tile new lower cabinets new sink and disposal and put sheet vinyl in the utility room a long with a sink in there as well added a dishwasher and custom cement counter tops witch turned out AWESOME. the wife and i plan to do a epoxy coloring later on using a product from Stone coat counter tops . we could not be happier
