Dirty low grade shop and I seen some very poor workmanship. The owner should be in a nursing home facility as he is running his business as if it were 1950 and women have no place in the shop. I was greeted very short and loudly “who are you?!” After handing in my application with my name clearly spelled out, guess his vision must be going as well as his memory.
15+ years in my trade and he treated me like I was 12 years old.
I took the weak generic weld test they provided and was told the quality of my welds were what they where looking for but the owner then proceeded to tell me to go home and ask my husband for permission to work there, almost as if he was talking me out of applying for the position during my short interview I was constantly interrupted and talked over and not given the opportunity to tell him anything about my experiences and knowledge in the trade. I also know another woman in the welding trade who was also not given an equal opportunity to work there. Very sad that people like this actually still run businesses this way, I will be reporting them to the state of WI

Dave and his team were so helpful! They were quick to respond and quick to fix our problem that we were having with out plow blender. In addition to helping us with our issue, they went above and beyond by sending us a manual for our gear box, which we didn't have, and they helped us to find out the correct oil to be using when the wrong oil was given to us from a prior company. I highly recommend using SMS, their quality and customer service is unbeatable!
