This was my first visit. The people at reception were friendly. I didn’t wait long to be ushered to an exam room and after going over my medical records with the assistant my wait for PA Tammy was short. After going over my medical conditions I received an unhurried explanation regarding the specifics of my condition, which included a discussion of medications, diet and lifestyle routines that would be appropriate for my medical needs. Tammy was warm, friendly, patiently listened and appeared knowledgeable. I immediately liked her. After running a test on me, Dr. Nikravan came and reviewed my results and explained where we would go next. Again, he was very friendly. I was very pleased from the moment I walked into the office and until I left. I’m glad to have found these professionals!

My journey with RFA began when our Fire Department Occupational Doctor began learning about and practicing thyroid ultrasounds on all operational employees in March of 2022. He noted that I had some nodules including a large one on my right side. This was later verified as indeterminate on a biopsy and possibly cancerous when a genetic molecular test was done.

I spoke with 4 endocrinologist, including Dr Nikravan on what to do. I live in Arizona and 2 of the 4 supported removing half my thyroid as the only way to know for certain if it was cancerous. My doctor had referred me to a specialist in Kingman, AZ who agreed that the RFA maybe a better alternative.

I found out about Dr Nikravan on a YouTube site called Save My Thyroid. Jennifer Holkem has many great stories from people who have done RFA and of the doctors who are using this for part of their practice. My nodule was located against the throat, near my carotid artery and just above my vocal nerve. The day before my RFA, Dr Nikravan did an ultrasound and explained to me what he would do and how it maybe difficult. He asked if I still wanted to go through with this surgery. I said I did all the research, traveled all this way and trust you to do it.

Dr. Nikravan and staff have been nothing but professional and easy to speak with. My wife spoke with the doctor and staff on zoom and finally met him one year after the procedure. She said he was very personable, gave you the attention a patient needs and made you understand everything he was saying. Also, my wife who is a very huge dog lover, got to meet his dog at this follow up and she just thought that was the icing on the cake

My daughter had appointment from 3 months ago and just at the day of her appointment they called and canceled our appointment and the worst part is we need to wait for 2 more months to get the new appointment!!!!
So disappointing!
They don’t care about patients and very unhelpful staff!!
If you matter about your health and your time don’t even think about this Doctor!!!!
