I recently had a patio cover installed by SC construction and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team was professional, the office ladies communicated every week with us during the process, & were very efficient. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations! Not only does my patio look fantastic now, but I also feel like I have gained an extra room in my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor living space. Installed patio cover in 17-18. They did a great job, though they did not install all the headers we purchased. Only one out of 4 were installed. Still love the cover. Have terrible issues with return emails and voice messages. I guess if you aren’t spending enough, you aren’t worth their time. I have had nothing but bad experiences with the office staff. Scott is not very reliable, at least on our case. When patio cover was installed we asked for a quote on 4 awnings. Never got back to us. I’m trying again. Left 2 emails. Now I guess I wait. Hopefully they get back to me before the weather gets too hot.

I had a LifeRoom installed by SC Construction. The initial interactions and customer service were pretty good. However, the quality of the initial installation could have been better, and my latest service request has been frustrating. During the walk through after the initial installation I had to point out missing caulking and loose fasteners. Also, after the first rain the LifeRoom was leaking from the sky light and where the LifeRoom and house were joined. It took them three attempts to fix. Also, within that same year one of the misters got clogged and I reached out to them to get fixed on 5/20/20. The installer shows up at the house without prior notice and attempted to fix it. Instead of fixing the mister he actually made it worse by causing water to spray everywhere when I turned the misters on making the entire system unusable. At least with a clogged mister I could still use the system. My LifeRoom gets a lot of sun during the summer which was the motivation to get the misting system. Needless to say, I couldn’t use the system the entire summer. I’ve contacted SC Construction several times to get it fixed and their response is we will look into it and get back to you. This has not happened; I ended up calling again just to be told the same thing. It’s been over 5 months since this has happened and still no progress. At this point I will contact the LifeRoom dealer directly and see if I can get the parts from them and fix myself. I will also work with state and legal resources (ARAG) to make sure these interactions are documented so that others can avoid the headache and inconvenience that I have.

I also gave feedback on some of the unprofessional behavior of their installers which may be another reason this work hasn’t been completed.

After posting this review, SC Construction has reached out to me and resolved the issue with the misters. I do appreciate how they acknowledged the mistakes and fixed the lingering problem in a professional manner.

Had such a great experience working with SC Construction! Scott was great to work with and the ladies in the office were so helpful and communicative. The Installers were professional and you can tell they enjoy what they do! Highly recommend SC Construction for any of your outdoor construction needs!

SC Construction installed 2 patio covers with ceiling fans at our home. This company has an awesome crew and the work was excellent. They also replaced 80 feet of redwood fencing. Scott was great to work with from beginning to finish date. His crew was hard working and a pleasure to work with. A shout out to George, Ulysses and Jacial. We are very happy with the result.

Terrible service after you have paid them and they finish their job. Our awning, which was about 7 months old, leaked terribly and we called to have it repaired and it took a long time for anyone to even give us a call back, was close to a month if not more than a month. We kept getting the run around about when someone could come out. After months of doing this we finally get someone to come out and he says it looks like they didn't slant it enough so the water could come down. He put some caulking and left and when it rained a few days later it leaked again and not just in one place, in multiple places. Called again to say its still leaking and had an appointment made with Scott, who is a the manager and the day came for him to show and he didn't show nor did we get a phone call he wasn't coming. I had to call and was told his wifes wallet was stolen and he was at the bank dealing with it? No phone call, nothing. We rescheduled for the next day and then I get a call about 10 minutes before he's supposed to show and I was told he is not coming because he has to pick up his wifes car at the shop? What happened to good customer service where your customer comes first? I would not recommend their services to anyone ever. Next call will be my lawyer.

I purchased a patio awning from them 9 years ago and they installed it. I contacted them many times about it leaking where the awning meets the house. They said it was our roof. We had our roof replaced a couple of years ago and it didn't help at all. It leaks all around the edges and around the gutter. Definitely not worth what we paid.
