Helpful, but there was no knowledge of how to handle fraud by Landlord, and did nothing to stop a retaliation eviction by the landlord. Landlord overcharged rent, charged for a utility she was to pay, lied to housing about tenant, did not fix stove so no stove for a yr. , and housing paid Landlord after notice given to stop month to month lease. This landlord did many wrongful things, no code violation repair, and came to home destroying things , harrassing,malaice slander. Housing always paid her and nothing else was ever done. No mediation or stopping to pay Landlord. Evicted while still in court about $$ Landlord owes me so no place to live and no sec.8 it's locked up till case in court is settled. I pd rent early, kept home and yard looking good. The landlord robbed me, and I lost home, and I'm still trying to get $$ back for the utilities and work done for landlord.the retaliation abuse I suffered was bad hud would not take action till everything was documented. so hud watched why I endured for months abuse , and law breaking tatics. Promising rights and laws they did Nothing to protect or charge they abused me also no charges filed
