The design/build process for a new custom home can be a complicated and stressful experience. After our first meeting with Jason and Greg Olsen, where we walked our "non-conforming" lake lot together and discussed the home we envisioned, we knew this was going to be different. I was interested in a traditional timber frame home and my wife preferred a craftsman-style design. With our input and their experience, the result was better than either of us ever envisioned. The quality of materials, construction and craftsmanship is just exceptional. We have a lot of family and friends in the trades, many of whom have said to us "you know, they just don't build homes like this anymore". More importantly, Jason, Bill and their crews are not just great builders, they're great people. We couldn't recommend them more highly. We absolutely love our Ruebl home!

From the first meeting with Jason, Bill, and Scott we knew we had chosen the right builder for our Lake home in southern Wisconsin. We interviewed multiple builders and multiple architects and chose Ruebl and Greg Olsen Designs after extensive interviews with past Ruebl customers. Their quality of materials and workmanship met or exceeded our expectations. Having Beth Welsh as their recommended Interior Designer was an exceptional experience. She kept us on budget and brought many ideas to the table for us to consider. We have told many people since the completion of our home…. We would do it all over again with Ruebl Builders hands down. They do what they say they will do and are just plain genuine folks that care about their customer experiences. We took ownership of our new home in December 2022 and could not be happier. From starting with building plans, the personal designer, the relationship with the contractors and the willingness to make the home your home with top quality items for your budget, sets them apart from others. Ruebl Builders are the best! Jason, Scott, and team helped us build our dream house. The Ruebl team was great to work with every step of the way; from design, to bid, to build, to finishing touches. Our design was a bit different than the 'average' Ruebl house (e.g. not timberframe), but it didn't matter - it turned out perfectly. The team prioritizes quality every step of the way, and in many examples took the 'harder' route to get the job done right. We were impressed with the quality and craftsmanship from all of the contractors. Jason and Scott managed through some very challenging circumstances with supply chain shortages, etc. and made it look easy. Even years after we moved in they are quick to respond to any questions and offer advice. We thoroughly enjoyed building our home with Ruebl and strongly recommend them to others looking to build a high quality home in Wisconsin!

We are very happy with our house built by Ruebl builders in 2021. We chose them for their nice review in the Journal Sentinel regarding line item cost accounting, for their willingness to work with our lot features and for ‘one stop shopping’ with their integrated architect. They were willing to work with our build choices while at the same time providing guidance and expertise on many decisions. We had an outstanding experience in building our home with Jason Ruebl and his team. If you’re looking for a family experience and a top quality product we recommend them and their services. They treat you and your home as if it were their own. They think of things that we never thought of. I think it is a common fear when you build a home (that you plan on living in forever) to wish you thought of everything. Because of their experience and the type of homes they build, They have seen it all and can recommend things to you along the way that you’ll be so grateful for after the fact.
