Greg did a great job building a deck off our dining room (and putting in a sliding glass door so we could get to the deck). One day, while Greg was building the deck, our dog got loose. Greg took off after him in his truck and enticed him into the vehicle with some chicken...so bonus points for that. A couple years later, the deck still looks good. Highly recommend Rocha Construction.

This was a really rough job for me, and thanks to Rocha & Sons staff, and their persistence, we made it through as best we could. I had a county issued citation I needed to fix, and struggling through their bureaucracy was a royal pain. People not returning calls, avoiding emails etc. made me miss my first deadline, and I gave up all hope of doing this myself. Contacted the pros, and they got it done. They still had to deal with people not returning calls or emails, but they persisted. We finally got the permit, paid for the traffic control fees, and they started work. Pleasant crew on the job, easy to talk to, discussing what was needed, did their best to be as unobtrusive as possible while breaking up and moving concrete, and compacting base rock. I was able to do my work from home meetings without a problem, except my own curiosity. Near noon on the 2nd day, the head guy says he will try to finish today, instead of taking the estimated third day, which would save me from paying for another day of traffic control. (Yeah) Little things went well. They forgot a hose, and asked it they could borrow mine, rather than lose an hour running back to the yard to get one. At the end of the job, it was curled up waiting for me to move it back. This job was quoted and agreed to before the huge jump in gas prices, but due to delays getting permits, we didn't start 'til much later, and the owner contacted me, and we worked out a reasonable price change (at least in my opinion), I hope he thought so too.

All in all, good people to work with, from the people in the office to the guys running the excavators. Will be my first call if I need to do more earthwork.
