Stumbled on to this park when visiting a nearby restaurant. What a fanastic spot for kids, families, and everybody else. Lot of open spaces, and activity areas. Water features, art installations, and beautiful gardens. A real gem!

Beautifully planned, constructed, and maintained urban space. Do not miss the hiking trails and all the sculptures. Lots of surrounding great restaurants too. The free concerts on Monday and Wednesday nights in the summer are great and very well attended.

Came here from the Twin Cities to meet friends for concert in the park and I had never been here . It’s a peaceful dream- kids playing on the water, having ice cream and other food trucks and vendors. Not too many people where it’s overwhelming but there is a line of cars to exit at the end of the night. It’s a super cute area.

Lovely park and Veterans Memorial along the Eau Claire River. Touching memorial at the top and paved trail along the river. Beautiful banks of flowers, a small pond with a fountain, picnic area and dog friendly! Peaceful and relaxing for a walk.

This is an incredible park right on the river. Lots of amenities close by. Great trails, wonderful views, a real gem. There’s great picnic tables under a shelter by the lower parking lot. And there’s a wonderful monument to veterans. Lots of flowers. You won’t be disappointed if you give it a try.

It's a beautiful park. Great trails with lots of flowers and green space. Great splash pad and stream for kids to play. Some other small play things for kids - I would like to see additional playground there though.....wonderful pavilion area for weddings. I really think the park is great

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. If you have kids they'll love it here, but make sure to bring a swimsuit and a towel. The splash pad and mini creek is impossible to resist.

Altoona has really bloomed over the past few years and this park is no exception! The walking path is always quaint next to the EC river. There’s artificial creek & sidewalk fountain comes in handy for the kids during hotter summer days. Also, there’s always accommodations nearby if the family gets hangry while at the park.
