Our business, MKE TIPPERS, purchased a used dump truck box from Ripon. They installed the box with a new cylinder and completed necessary repairs. We were exceedingly pleased with the process and outcomes!

I had RTR buil a box for my quad axle truck 3 years ago and after being put through the paces I have a number of pros and cons on the box. Pros are RTR was very reasonable on price and easy to work with customizing a box that suits my needs. The box is very well built and is withstanding all abuse we throw at it including hauling large rock, concrete, scrap, etc. Cons are the lack of attention to detail. I am not very happy with the paint job, or constant chasing of air leaks , and fixing of wiring due to lack of protection around rub points. I feel the length of hoist cylinder was over looked which makes material more prone to sticking in box. I had to re-fab spreader chain setup also refab spreader pan due to material buildup. My biggest issue is the tailgate latching system. Latches are only held closed with air pressure and do not have a cam-over/over center design to ensure strength in locked position. Latches are prone to pop open with loose loads or while dipping material out of box. Overall we are happy with the box strength and structure but are very unhappy with all other options and components that make it work.

We had them build their box to put on our late model truck. It was the best valley we found in competitors around the upper Midwest. We went there on a Monday for the removal and install of our new box. I was on my way home by 4:30 the next afternoon.

We are very satisfied with the box l and Kevin was a great salesman helping us through the options that were available.
