I cannot say enough good about this hospital. My father was seen in the ER, then admitted to the hospital and then moved to the ICU. All of the staff from reception, to nursing, to respiratory therapy were phenomenal. The nursing staff were patient, compassionate and made sure to communicate to my family about what was happening throughout his stay. The care that he received from the respiratory therapist was unlike any care he had ever received from any other hospital! The RT stayed with my father late into the evening to make sure that my father was comfortable and stable before leaving for the night. When my father was admitted to RC hospital he was in no shape to be transferred to a larger facility. Today my father was transferred to Meriter where he can get the complex care that he needs. This would not be possible without the staff at the RC hospital. Thank You!

Find another hospital. This is by far the worst hospital. My father was admitted, I stayed in the room with him. The nurses would only open the door to ask me how he was doing. I wale up freezing cold, touch my father's skins...he's freezing cold. I pull the blanket up only to see him covered in blood. I notify staff and they clean everything thing up but never took a hemoglobin test. They then release him with a very low blood pressure reading. On top of that I've had to appointments for my son to get his meds refilled and have yet to see a doctor. Either they say their too busy a or the doctor just doesn't show up. They are ridiculous. Basically if you want a fighting chance avoid this hospital.

Im starting to understand and respect this place better...I admit ive been very critical..I am now rewriting my review...my gripes still stand with the owners....I know most of the medical professionals here are doing there absolute best, especially considering they are just one hospital serving an entire county. Not to mention my health problems are anything but simple to treat. They understand me and my chronic pain problems now i think lol I pray that i never lose the care team i now have...they have hearts of gold.

I called to asked for options on how to pay my bill and I was told I had to pay all my bill at once or give them my tax return and I refused and the hang up on me and told me it was gonna go to collection they never even tried to help me with payment options! Please stay away from this hospital do yourself a favor!! DONT DO IT.

I was 3 hours away from home and my toddler started having symptoms of a UTI. She was screaming bloody murder trying to pee and it was a bit scary. I took her to the Richland Center hospital and I’m so impressed with the care we received. They were insanely quick, so kind, and the whole experience was really positive. We were in and out in less than an hour. They even were able to give us the medication she needed there since no pharmacies were open and we aren’t from around here. Dr. Harris & Nurse Krystle were simply amazing and as a mom who was alone and scared with their child, I cannot recommend them enough.

Just made a simple phone call to this hospital and they gave me the run around connected me to two different people hope I don't ever have to be admitted to that hospital

My father was sent home from the emergency room unable to stand and walk at 89 years old at 12:30 a.m. it went downhill from there and he passed that day.

My granddaughter went to Urgent care 4 weeks ago and the PA said she was sure it was strep. The rapid test came back negative. Now my granddaughter has scarlet fever and the strep test is still negative. I asked the hospital why they don't do a better test and all that was said was they are a small hospital. That's seems odd. Anyway you may want to go somewhere else for a strep test because the rapid one is not accurate or the person in the lab isn't very good at his/her job.
