We did not have a positive experience with Redevelopment Services. Our primary purpose for contacting Redevelopment Services was for a bathroom remodel. We thought since a contractor would be at the house, we would get a quote for outside work as well. Based on the bathroom remodel quote given us by Jeremy, we chose his services over another contractor. The quote he gave us for the bathroom gave us more in our budget, so we added outside work we originally were not planning to do. Jeremy insisted on doing all the outside work first. Once he completed the outside work, Jeremy would not provide a date of when the bathroom reno would start only stating he has other big projects needed to be wrap up. After weeks of not hearing from Jeremy, we reached out. Jeremy’s response was that the quote he gave “was well below the actual cost.” When we asked Jeremy how much more his response was “slightly above.” Jeremy never provided us with a new dollar amount. Jeremy’s actions put us in a bind. We started this process with Jeremy in April, and we are moving into August. We do not have a new bathroom and with using more of our budget for outside work based on his quote, we are now unable to get everything we wanted in our bathroom. Had Jeremey listened to us in the beginning and started with the bathroom we would have made different decision on what we spent on outside work. I am thankful the contractor that we originally turned down answered our call. He worked with us to get costs within our budget and about two-weeks after contacting him back he has already started our bathroom remodel.
