These sheds are so great - well built, came as ordered, delivered early, placement on my property was a breeze.

I just received my shed yesterday. I ordered it at the end of May and it was delivered 3 weeks later. Bob (from the Hayward location) handled the sale for me and he was very easy to work with. For the price, I don't think there is a better shed product out there. The delivery driver (Vern) was great and put the shed exactly where I wanted it and leveled it for me. I highly suggest buying one of these!

Had a horrible experience with this company. Still had to purchase the shed and now months later we are having issues with the windows and doors from poor installation. Horendous customer service and while dealing with them they were very unethical while trying to find solutions to the problems we encountered during the building process. Would NOT recommend.

I bought a building from them. I told the salesman I was going to use it for an art gallery. He agreed to install a quality door I bought from Lamberts. The door is 3/8 out of plum on a 4 ft level. His answer is to refund the money I paid him and pay someone else to fix the door. The outside of the building is fine. To try to finish the inside was a nightmare. Old Hickory buildings advertise out of Tennessee they can be tiny homes or offices. I should have been told to go elsewhere for a building built standard to a house. If you want a storage shed, buy from them. If you’re looking for a living space, go elsewhere.

They don't know how to do framing properly. And the entry door was 3/8" out of plumb on a 4' level tipped out on one corner and not sealing well. Their excuse was these are just storage sheds. Now that's laughable right there. The main old hickory website advertises tiny homes ect and this building was a custom and fits in this catagory. I would check the framing with a professional before you have it spray foamed if you're planning on finishing the inside. No nailers in corners or where wall meets ceiling and poor placement of some studs. Pretty unbelievable. Just a storage shed or not do it right the first time.They took my mother's money in full on delivery while she was oblivious to what i explain here. All you get is a bunch of lame excuses about their workmanship and they do nothing. Im not one for leaving reviews but i will when it gets ridiculous. What happened to honesty and integrity these days? Nice looking building on the outside otherwise.

On July 8th we ordered a shed and was informed it would take 6 weeks to build.
When 6 weeks had come and we didn’t have our shed I called and was informed it would be 7 weeks. I then had to call back at 7 weeks and was told it would take 8 weeks. At 8 weeks I had to call back and was told the same thing... it would be another week and you’ll have it at 9 weeks. Finally at 9 weeks the same thing happened. Still no shed so I had to call back again and was told the same thing, you’ll have your shed by the end of next week. Finally at that 10 weeks our shed was delivered.

What’s the most frustrating is two things no one ever reached out to update us. I had to hunt down the right person to call and they couldn’t even give accurate information or a correct eta. At first our sales representative was the one providing updates and she had even mentioned it was hard to get an update and said I might have better luck. That’s when I started to call on my own. I first called corporate. They provided a name and number for an individual out of the Cumberland WI shop and I called. That gentleman told me to call one of the drivers. Both of these guys I talked to always said I donno. I think and next week you’ll have it.

When you work in customer service and have customers overpaying for sheds you would think customer service and communication would be better but no. I called the district manager and left two messages wanting to share the experience we had. I still have yet to get a call back.

I will never recommend Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds to anyone!

On a plus we finally have our shed and it’s great quality. Also our sales representative at the company we ordered from was truly amazing!

Delivery was to be at 6 to 8 weeks. After multiple calls, finaly delivered at 11 weeks.
Door surface cosmetic damage, trim work incorrectly applied, sealer paint coat minimal at best. The quality of product by this company has deteriorated. I purchased a building from them 5 years ago with NO complaints. NEVER AGAIN
