Yesterday I had three big windows replaced by Quality First Home Improvement Inc. Kevin Kluck Assistant Program Manager Kept me up-to-date about the project and was always available if I had questions.
Vince and Scott, the two guys who installed the windows, are very professional, showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner.
The windows look nice, and they did a really nice job on the wood trim on the inside of the windows.
I would definitely recommend Quality First for your home improvements

Quality First did an amazing job on my house with the lifetime coolwall coating system. It’s been 2 years and it looks like it just got done last week. Very satisfied with the product and I would recommend it to anyone.

We should have known that Quality First would not live up to their name after they canceled twice on us for the initial look and estimate for our new doors, but we saw all of these good reviews and figured it must just be a fluke.
We paid nearly $10,000 for new front and back door, and we have since spent several days of our own time trying to fix the subpar work that Quality First did.
The installation took all day (it was only supposed to take 2 hours), but we have an old house so it didn't bother us as long as the work was done well. Unfortunately, the finished product was such a mess that we had to call them to come fix some issues the following week. There was a huge gap between the frame and the transition plate (which they came and fixed for free) and the trim and wall around the door, both interior and exterior, needed refinishing, sanding and painting (which we were told was our responsibility). This meant applying stucco, filling foam, and spackle, and going to the paint store to get a paint match. Additionally, the caulking they did was so bad (looked like an entire tube was used on one side of one door) that I had to spend an entire afternoon scraping the excess away and repainting. This is the type of thing I would expect to do if we got one of those cheap Home Depot installations, not something that has "quality" right in the name.
The final straw came when today while painting we noticed above the front door there are massive gaps between the door frame and the interior wall (pictured below). Off to the hardware store yet again to clean up the mess that was made when we got these premium doors.
Go to a place that specializes, and not one of these "general install" places, it will save you time and money in the long run.

We bought Our house in 2015. It hadn't been painted since it was built, approximately 35 years or so by present day. Josh Lucero from Quality First's Concord office came out again inquiring if we wanted to replace more windows - a job they'd done previously for us and did a spectacular job doing so.
Because of covid-19 we weren't allowing anyone access to the house and that pretty much prevented any windows replacement. Painting the house was in our plan and we took that route instead for this improvement.
We took the tex-cote option for the lifetime guarantee, fire resistance, and easy cleaning. It was about twice the cost of a normal paint job but as we'd never have to paint again and we live in an area prone to summer ground fires we decided it was a good investment. We had to get financing and the company was very patient with us as we juggled between them and our bank for the best financing deal.
It took a while for our project to begin because we had to wait for warmer, clear weather. Once it did, it took about a week to complete.
Rene and his painting crew were extremely nice and respectful of our property and needs. They had to replace a lot of wood that had rotted around the panes but organized the waste well. I have only found three nails that they missed, two on the front driveway and one in the back. I think that's a great example of how careful they were, when compared to the 100+ I found after having our roof replaced.
There were two moldings under two separate sliding doors that they missed but Rene returned promptly to replace them and paint them.
We are very pleased with the project. I would say we'd use their service again to paint the outside but as we got that lifetime tex cote, maybe cleaning and an occasional patch is all we will need.
For Josh himself, he is an excellent listener and goes out of his way to meet your needs and give you the best product he can. He truly is excited about the products he offers. He is patient, works to meet compromise between what they offer and what you can afford and never pressures you beyond your means. He makes himself readily accessible if you have any questions or need any updates and makes an effort to follow up on the project during and after in order to guarantee your satisfaction.
He is hands down one of their best employees and if I owned my own business I'd be lucky to have someone like him working for me.

We had Quality First replace the original windows in our new to us 1970s tract house. The winter storms have done some damage, and we needed to get them upgraded for insulation purposes as well. Josh was great at doing the measurements and the quote and hooking us up with financing. Sacha and Alex's crew was fast, efficient, and super polite. They even provided borders around our new patio door. The window quality has been excellent so far too. We've noticed a massive difference in sound and air around the windows. Thanks to all involved!

This review is specific to their solar division. I had my roof replaced and windows replaced May 2022. I previously already had solar panels on my roof that needed to be removed. The solar division was suppose to come the day before the roofers were to start. They didn’t show up. Once the roofers arrived the next day I had to reach out to the project manager of the roof project to tell them that the solar gives never showed up. Once the solar guys finally arrived and removed the panels the project was able to proceed. Once the roof was completed it took two weeks to get the solar guys back out to my house to reinstall my panels. Unfortunately they I stalled them improperly as my system was not working properly. It took multiple calls with multiple people but I was able to get in contact with someone to come out and look at. In the mean time I provided PG&E statements proving I was not generating energy output from my panels. I was assured that the problem would be fixed however it became increasingly difficult to get in contact with the solar guys. I was then told that they don’t install the system I had and were able to do anything about it. If I would have known that they were not trained to remove and reinstall the panels I wouldn’t have selected Quality First to replace my roof. As of August 2023 I have put in multiple work order tickets and left numerous voicemails and emails, all unanswered. I am now left to resolve this issue myself and have to take legal action to make back money Quality first has costed me in both to fix my solar panel system and money lost from energy saving from the panels themselves and cost at true up. I highly discourage anyone from working with this company.
