We recently completed renovations on master & guest showers, sub-floor reinforcement and leveling of our entire townhouse, painting of ceiling and walls, and installed a solution for covering our washer and dryer cubby. We are so happy with how the entire project turned out and that QA Builders were able to finish the project based on their original completion time frame.

We found Josh and Poli of QA Builders to be very easy to work with. They listened to what we were looking for in a project, gave us a reasonable bid, and then guided us through the material selection process. We appreciated their advice and their ability to understand our needs. The Quartz slab showers the team installed look fabulous!

Going into the project we were concerned because we were not living in CA. We weren't sure how easily or promptly we would be informed of progress or issues with the project. Josh (our main Project Manager) promised us that he would provide feedback to include phone calls, video calls, texts, pictures and video of the project. Once the project started we were so happy with the constant communication that we had. As much as we love the finished project, the constant communication showed us the QA Builders and Josh really believe in building trust and increasing engagement with the customer. Renovations can be big ticket items and it's nice to know that QA Builders understands that good communication can really make the process so much smoother and give the customer piece of mind. Josh made sure that our interests were aligned with what the QA Builders' team was doing. His can-do attitude made this process so smooth.

Should we have the need for future projects, we would not hesitate working with Josh and QA Builders again.

Sal and his team, Poli as well, did an absolutely fantastic job remodelling our kitchen, floors and painting.
1. We consulted with MANY contractors, got quotes, QA builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, price and reviews.
2. Right from the start when we got a quote till the contracts were signed, to the project completion, they have remained extremely professional, responsive to any matter, and on budget.
3. They understood our limits as full time working professionals, always found a way to work with our schedule for material selections, pick ups etc.
4. The work quality and finishing is BEAUTIFUL. We have remodelled other homes before, so can spot a bad job when we see one, they did a fantastic job with the finishes in the kitchen and floors.
5. Very important to us was timeline. They ensured us they would finish in a certain amount of time, and although you are at the mercy of material delivery, Sal and Poli and their team finished the work on time as promised! We were thrilled with that.
6. Sal came with me personally to help select the kitchen slab, understand differences between materials of backsplashes etc. Very thorough, and takes the time to explain everything in detail.
7. Even after the project has been complete, we have had a few leaks in the bathrooms , which was not even a part of their project, but they have been able to help us fix them in the timely manner!

For me- Professionalism, Competitive fair pricing, and completion of work on time is the most important to me- which QA builders by far get 10 stars in! I plan to use them again when I remodel my bathrooms in this house, and when I build an extension to my new home. Highly recommend them for your services.

Sal and his team did a great job with our garage remodel. They gave us a competitive bid and were very flexible with timing to accommodate my schedule. Sal was very responsive to my questions through the project. They installed drywall, fixed shelves, a custom mudroom area, added an attic and recessed lights, epoxied the floor, replaced an old window, installed a new sink, and moved our washer and dryer to a more sensible location. Everything looks great and our garage is so much brighter and more functional now.

I highly recommend QA Builders for any remodel, I worked mostly with Sal and Poli who did an amazing job clearly explaining the process, breakdown of the cost, and the scope of the work. I had my kitchen remodeled with them and Poli made the process very easy, the employees were courteous and professional. The also were willing to work with the HOA to get the project started. They knew places where I could get additional materials I needed and where to get the best prices. Poli was extremely responsive and gave me updates on the project. Scope of Work - Demolition and remodeling three full bathrooms, Master bedroom flooring, Paint job and some additonal electrical work in the kitchen area

Hiring Process - We invited three contractors (based on Yelp and Google reviews) to give us a detailed quote. I met with Sal and noticed that he was the only contractor who was extremely detail-oriented about the work process as well as his bid. I could sense the passion and enthusiam in him about his work and I was sold

Shopping - Once the contract was in place, Sal himslef took me to shop for all the materials needed for the project. He has an amazing list of vendors and it was a pleasure to shop for all the materials. They gave us good discounts too because of Sal. I have to note that Whenever I was confused about what to select (it may be the tiles or plumbing fixtures or something else), Sal stepped in and made a gentle suggestions to help me decide better. At the same time, if I did like something very much and if I could sense that he was not a big fan of my selection, Sal kept his opinion to himslef and never pressured me to change my mind. I really appreciate that quality in Sal

Actual work - My family moved to a rental place for a few weeks since we were going to work on all three bathrooms. Sal promised to get two of the bathrooms ready within 4-6 weeks and he did. Sal's employees were courteous, friendly and helpful. When the team started demolishing, we realized that we couldnt proceed with certain plans as we hoped in the beginning. Sal and his team always came up with an alternate solution to make it work without compromising on the qulaity. I really respect Sal and his entire crew for respecting our property. They covered all the wall/cabinets at our place with plastic and floors, with thick construction paper while working. when most of the work was finished, they cleared all the coverings and since then they have been taking their shoes off(or they wore shoe covers) to enter our home for any remaining work to keep our floors clean.

Sal's Team - I especially have to thank them for when my whole family was down with Covid and how well they treated us. They constantly checked up on us and inquired if we needed any help. We had all of our meetings on facetime since I couldnt meet them in-person. Basically, I knew exactly what was going on with our project all the time. I have to give a special shout-out to Poli (Sal's assistant). I have probably never met a person who is as efficient as Poli. Poli made sure all the materials were picked up, sorted and were in place for the project. If I wanted to communicate something to the team or Sal, all I needed to do was let Poli know and every message was conveyed immediately. Sal definitely trained Poli well!

When things go wrong - This is when you know if you have made the right call. I dont think any project will run smoothly without some hiccups at the very least. Our proejct was not any different. The window we orderd didnt come on time. There was a time when the city inspector wanted them to fix an electrical issue which was unrelated to their work. We had a few of such issues and Sal, like a true professional just kept the work going until it was done. Even when his work truck was broken into, I didnt see Sal complaining. His first response was to alert me to double check if he had any of my checks on his truck that might have got stolen. All in all, it was a beautiful experience!

Conclusion - We have three beautifully remodelled bathrooms and every other work was completd as promised. I would definietely hire Sal again for our future projects. I have attached a few pictures here. The pictures definitely dont do justice for how beautiful, bathrooms have turned out to be.

From our first meeting with Sal from QA Builders we felt he was dependable and knowledgeable. Sal has a great team who put in a lot of work to get our house done quickly, multiple weeks ahead of schedule. They just finished renovating both of our bathrooms, replacing flooring, and also facilitated adding central AC and upgrading our electrical panel. As new home owners, communication and quality work were important to us and Sal delivered on both. All issues were quickly and effectively managed and the final product is beautiful. The before and after pictures speak for themselves. We would recommend Sal and QA Builders and hope to have them renovate our kitchen in the future.

We had a great kitchen remodel experience with QA builders. Our existing kitchen was functional so this remodel was mostly cosmetic, including 1) replacing counter top & backsplash 2) repainting kitchen cabinets, and 3) installing new sink, faucet, hardwares (cabinet handles, switches, power outlets, etc). They started the job on 10/21/21, and completed the work on 11/5/21, in just about 3 weeks. We were specifically happy about working with QA builders because

1) Communication: Sal, the owner of QA Builders, was always quick to respond to my text. This was my first time remodeling a house so I had a lot of questions during the process, and Sal always responded promptly, no later than 24 hours. Sal also visited our house every day to check on the status and manage his crew. His communication was always clear, and if we had any follow up questions later, he was happy to answer at any time. This was actually one of the reasons why we decided to work with him, because we noticed that he was transparent about the remodel process & his business during the initial consultation. Oh and of course he is licensed and his business is insured.
2) Experience: QA Builders was Sal's father's business but now Sal is taking over. So I think Sal has a long experience of learning or working as a general contractor. For our remodel, we picked our own cabinet color, counter top material, tiles, and etc. and we were unsure if they will look good at the end of the project. (Who knew there are hundreds colors of "grey" and dozen different types of "subway tiles"...) Sal assured that our choice was good, and he also helped us out selecting materials based on his experience. He also recommended little things here and there which turned out great.
3) Timeliness: Sal & his crew always showed up early in the morning and worked tirelessly every day. I can tell because I worked from home while they were working in the kitchen. The work was also completed within the promised timeline of 2-4 weeks. Can't be any happier.

Having no experience in remodeling, I had doubts and questions during the process just because I do not have the knowledge and expertise. However, Sal was always happy to explain and make sure we were on the same page during the project. The end result is beautiful, and we are enjoying our new kitchen every day. I highly recommend QA Builders & Sal as they will get the job done on time, professionally, with any questions answered.
