This company should be illegal! They are charging AEP prices plus their own for a basic utility. It’s simply not fair! I pay $300 a month for a 1 bedroom and it’s never been any less than that.

If I could give this company a negative 50 I would! Aside from my complaint on the Better Business Bureau's website, this company has over 40 complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau for shady billing practices. They just started doing the water billing for Wilcox Communites, my community is in Pataskala, Ohio and they are billing a separate usage charge of $20.01, and a separate Capital Improvement charge of $11.62, which is a made up charge by them so they can make more money for their company. I get they are billing $6.50 for doing the statements, however it is unethical and down right stealing from tenants to make up charges and then continue to lie to them when you called out on your scheme.

I have personally walked into our local water department and showed them the bill PEM is sending our community, I was informed that the charges of $20.01 for usage and $11.62 for Capital Improvements were included in the water & sewer base charge for each tenant and this company is inflating their bills. They refuse to adjust the bills and now I have been forced to get an attorney to prove this company is fraudulently billing Ohio tenants fir their own gain. They also tried to bill us for a whole month last month even when they were told to only bill for for a half month since we paid for May with our rent. They did redo our bills, but they still billed incorrectly because they used the wrong county's billing. We should have been billed $22.23 and they still bill us $27.57. They were supposed to credit our accounts with our current bill, but they refuse to do that as well.
