Dear PIMG Family,
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire PIMG community, especially to the incredible network of PIMG mothers. You have been a lifeline throughout the intense process of completing the Steps and applying to the Match. There are no words to fully capture the impact of knowing that, at any given moment, there’s always someone there to lift you up, to remind you to keep going, or simply to listen when you need it the most.
This journey is not easy, and it’s even more challenging when you find yourself in a new country, navigating a different system, while holding on tightly to the career you love. PIMG has become a safe space where we uplift each other, share our struggles and victories, and remind ourselves that we are not alone. The support and encouragement I’ve received from this community have been truly invaluable — it’s not just about making it through the Match, it’s about finding strength in each other along the way.
I sincerely hope that PIMG continues to grow while staying rooted in the humility and genuine support that define it. The work being done here matters—it’s life-changing for so many IMGs who arrive in the U.S. hoping to reclaim the careers they’ve worked so hard for.
As I move forward in my own path, I hope to give back to this community even more. I know how invaluable PIMG is for all IMGs, and I am committed to supporting others the same way this amazing group supported me. Thank you for being a source of strength, inspiration, and unwavering support.

Hi, I’m Dr. Aayushi Desai, a fellow IMG who recently matched into Internal Medicine! I deeply appreciate how PIMG and their community is there to support all IMGs in their USMLE journey. This is my first time attending any event in the US and it has been an amazing experience!
