I loved Dr Chu...since he retired & these incompetence took over it has went to hell in a hand basket....I called them a few weeks ago to explain to them that I believed I was having an acute gout flare up...I tried to explain to them that I have a liitle medical background...& that I was sure that's what it was...His assistant called me back ( Dr. Dellinger) & told me she checked my chart & I didn't have a history of gout & did I have it n my family...I replied 'NO' ....so she wouldn't prescribe anything for me but pain pills & prednisone...after a few days of excruciating pain...I did some self care...it helped....a few days later I was able to walk without excruciating pain...but the swelling in the joint of the big toe was still visibly noticeable....now 2 weeks later it has returned....I couldn't take the pain so I payed a visit to the company nurse...she told me that it was definitely gout & that I needed to visit my doctor to get the appropriate meds prescribed or I will continue to have flare ups!! I'm @ an impasse now....I'm looking for another doctor....they are fired!!! No compassion or empathy from those people!! Sidenote...they occasionally open the office in the predominantly Black community( Western) & open everyday in the Hispanic area of downtown LA on Grand....that is not the office I signed up for....I'm a middle age woman that works for her health benefits....they are not given to me..I was a patient of Dr Jae Chu for over 25 yrs....the care u receive from these ppl is horrible!! In the last 7 yrs since Dr Chu retired 😢 💔 I have never seen Dr Burahmi ...always an intern...im fed up !! Please choose another primary physician that actually cares...I have left several messages for him ( Dr Burahmi) to call me....the call has never been returned!!!

This doctor is overwhelmed with patients and because of that he gives terrible quality care to all his patients. His staff is completely incompetent and never returns calls let alone other things that need follow up. My mom and dad are both patients of Dr. Barahmi and so far he has done nothing for them, but neglect their medical needs. Avoid going here

I used to be a patient at this clinic for about 2 years. In the beginning, my experience was good especially coming from Kaiser. I thought Dr. Bahrami had good bedside manner until my blood work started coming back with some concerning results and I was having some symptoms that he didn't understand. He insisted that I start taking antipsychotic meds (celexa, buspar, Prozac) as I kept having these symptoms. According to him, what I was feeling was all in my head.
Long story short, I changed doctor and found an amazing doctor! Turns out I have hyperparathyroidism and a tumor! If it was up to Dr. Bahrami, I would have probably die in his care! Stay away if you want an ethical doctor.
