We undertook a years long renovation with multiple projects in our home involving intricate cabinetry, tile, marble etc. Ron and his team demonstrated outstanding quality of work and meticulous attention to detail. The Pomer team of Ron and Sharone is truly everything you didn’t know you needed in a contractor/designer duo. When we decided to add a pool, we felt overwhelmed by the options in materials, aesthetics, features and the entire process, especially because we had no idea what we were doing. We had some design inspiration photos, knew we needed it as safe as possible with young kids at home, and had a general sense of where it would go in the yard. From there, Ron and Sharone handled it all. Their quote doesn’t give you the bare minimum, prompting you to ask for upgrades, IF you were even savvy enough to know what you wanted in the first place. Their plans give you the best out there, and their quote is fully encompassing of everything you’d want. And we didn’t realize how important that was until we compared other contractor bids and saw differences like pool cover on top of coping vs. Pomer’s designed to be hidden under coping, and so forth. Sharone was amazing with design plans- I searched for tile to match what I wanted and couldn’t find it. She met me at a tile store, and brought the design to life- basically making what I wanted when we couldn’t find it. In terms of change orders or those other scary things people had warned us about with contractors? Couldn’t tell you, because I never got a single change order or addition to price despite a way more time intensive hardscape plan requiring cut to design. These guys just make it happen. Their attention to detail was greater than my own. They’re patient, they’re thorough, they handle any glitches that come up in plans or permits or whatever it is. And they’re available for you and present through the whole process, no matter how big or small your plans. I don’t think Ron or Sharone ever took longer than an hour to return a call or text. And what we quickly learned from comping out other bids is what may appear at the outset to cost more actually costs way less. These guys are straight shooters, they’re honest, they have good design taste, honestly they have it all. And if you’re like me, you’ll realize that they can make your visions come true, calmly and affordably, and you’ll end up hiring them to remodel the rest of your house while they’re at it. Stumbling upon them was hitting the contractor jackpot.
