Project manger was not responsive to our concerns. When asked to come back to fill the cracks they tarred them right over the newly painted stripes. Second area was prepaid for work that was proposed and it didn’t come out the way things were explained. Won’t recommend this organization to anyone.

I respectfully disagree with Pastor J's comment. Having previously worked for Poblocki, I vividly remember the state of this lot. It was severely neglected, with knee-high weeds growing from every crack, numerous potholes, and large chunks of asphalt missing. In my experience, a lot this size would typically require 5-6 hours of cleanup and preparation for our seal coating crew. Honestly, I would strongly recommend that the church consider replacing the entire lot.

I had an amazing experience with Adam and the team at Poblocki. I had contacted numerous concrete and paving companies and Adam was one of the few that got back to me, spent the time to go over our project, and quote it quickly. Once we signed the contract our project was done quickly and the quality is awesome. I already referred their company to other people as I was very impressed.

I contracted Poblocki Paving to replace my garage floor and resurface my blacktop driveway. The work was second to none. The garage floor is quite possibly the nicest I've ever seen! Originally a one star in accident. I just noticed it and had to change it. They were AMAZING people to work with from start to finish and they made my driveway look great. People from the neighborhood would be driving by and had to slow down. I also had a few companies bit it and Poblocki had best price and by far best service.

Cons:
Where do I start? Lack of communication as to when the job would start. "The week of.." isn't good enough. They showed up to our house no more than 10 minutes before we received the call. Driveway was dug up, left with "it'll be done by the weekend"

We told them they could pave up to the neighbors fence, and they did. The neighbor had an issue, to which, we brought it up with Adam via email and asked if anything could be done. He replied, "I'm actually pretty irritated you are telling me this after we discussed.."

Well, that's great, he's irritated.

In the same email, I made mention of how the driveway had roller marks that went deeper than the area next to it, as if the roller was compacting the driveway more than the asphalt compactor plate.

I viewed it on my security camera and saw where the roller went. I asked him if I should worry about it to which he replied, "maybe you should watch the security video to see how they compacted your driveway prior to rolling with the larger roller"

Well, I did, and guess what? The roller never even touched the area in question. After all that, I get "you're commenting on procedures you're not even familiar with" Well, he's right with that one, but I do know that a roller weighs a heck of alot more than a compactor plate..

Finally, the last sentence of his e-mail, "We will be collecting full payment for this job or we will be filing a lien on your property."

Really? Really?! We already gave you 1/3 on a deposit, what makes you think we weren't serious about paying you? Instead of a professionally worded email that could've been resolved with simple "unfortunately, we can't do that.." or "It's not in the contract" or even just yes or no answers, we received that.

So, don't question anything about their procedures unless you want to aggravate the owner.. or get lien threats..
