Trevor showed up on time and gave my sewer drain ice block a good try with their auger, to no avail. Their next suggestion was to try and cut the block with a power sprayer and fine nozzle.
Fortunately, they had equipment trouble. They planned to return with different equipment.
During that wait period, I began to worry about the excess water in my crawl space and chose not to pursue that option yet.
I've chosen to try an submersible aquarium heater to speed? the defrost.
I would definitely call them again. Maybe to fix this once and for all.
