We purchased a duplex in San Francisco that was in desperate need of repair. We lived in one of the units that did not have any temperature controls, the windows leaked and the flooring was chipping away. We wanted to begin renovation on the other unit that was uninhabitable as soon as possible and needed a contractor.

Our architects referred us to Perez Construction. Perez's initial evaluation and cost estimates were thorough, and they were enthusiast to take on our project. Perez and team were extremely friendly, communicative and skilled to swiftly tackle the many challenges of our project in a timely manner. They were also very accommodating to our needs during constructions as we lived upstairs and kept us involved at every step. Additionally, they integrated different technologies into their workflow to facilitate project management, such as using BuilderTrend for daily logging, payment tracking, messaging, etc.

We are delighted with the overall results. Our newly renovated unit is exactly how we imagined it, and we moved in immediately once construction completed. We look forward to working with them in the future to renovate our other unit, and would recommend Perez Construction to anyone wishing to renovate their home.

We were introduced to Perez Construction by our realtor (who we also love!) and we are so glad to have gone with Perez Construction for our project. We had a very unfortunate accident in the house before we moved in, so we wanted to make changes to it to make sure it doesn't happen again. Also, we needed the hardwood floors redone and also new hardwood floors on all of the bedrooms. The team at Perez Construction were not only professional, but diligent and on time. They are not the cheapest but also not the most expensive, and for the result we got - it was worth every penny.

Connor, Everson, and the rest of the team are so professional, from having a first virtual call explaining the process, to using an online tool to give us daily updates, including pictures of the progress, to doing a final walkthrough of the property to ensure that we were satisfied with the results. They took our vision and made it a reality, and made suggestions along the way. This was a small project for them but there was no lack of professionalism and quality delivered.

We have additional projects that we are thinking of, and Perez Construction will be our first choice!

When we were looking to remodel our bathroom, we had certain criteria that had to be met. We had read and heard about so many remodeling horror stories. It was important for us to find a local and professional construction team. We wanted our job to go smoothly and have quality work that was up to code, with no shortcuts or substitutions. We also wanted transparency; no secrets and everything up front and communicated. Once we found Perez Construction, we knew they were the one. When we inquired about their services, they were not taking on any new jobs at the time. We waited a year, and was it well worth the wait.

From the beginning, it was made very clear how we were the focus of the remodel. They only take on five jobs at a time, and this is a family business. We were made to feel part of their family. They worked with us every step of the way; from design, implementation, and finishing. We were given almost daily memos about the construction process. It was always about what we wanted, and our vision.

Every worker who worked on our project was professional and courteous. Our house was returned clean and orderly at the end of each day. They do quality work. There were a couple of things that were redone as they were not to their quality specifications. We really appreciated the attention to details.

In the end, we are very happy with the final design and project. It was what we envisioned. They took our ideas and made it a reality. We love going into our bathroom and can’t believe the transformation. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you Everson, Connor, and everyone else at Perez Construction.

Perez Construction did a great job on our project, which involved replacing all the siding and windows on the three-story back wall of our house, which had a serious dry rot problem. Perez Construction gave us a detailed estimate, which was somewhat lower than another bid we had received, completed the job according to their schedule, and the quality of their work was excellent. There were some unforeseen complications which Perez Construction handled expertly and without additional cost. Perez provided daily scheduling and progress updates using the online BuilderTrend application. But first and foremost, Everson Perez and his crew are really nice and considerate people! They went the extra mile to ensure that we senior citizens were not overly disrupted or inconvenienced. They clearly take pride in their work. They were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Perez Construction.

I don’t usually write reviews but this one was truly earned. Updating our home was a dream we have had for years and years. But finding a good contractor in SF was so difficult, that we almost gave up. It was exhausting trying to find someone trustworthy and not overpriced. Enter Perez Construction! During the project we had clear communication, expectation setting, professionalism and superior craftsmanship. Everson would even start all of our meetings asking for feedback. Their team truly feels like a family, reacting promptly to every aspect of the project. They have a great network of quality designers, engineers and architects ready in case they are needed. When the project was all finished and they were almost out of the house, the recent storms cause water damage in parts of my home. Everson said to me: “we are not only committed to the project, we are committed to your family and we will help you get through this.” And they did! We recently moved back and we cannot be happier.
