P & A welding is a nightmare. I am the manager of a privately owned hotel in Lakeland, FL. We have a balcony handrail that is loose and needs to be repaired. The state inspectors took a look at the handrail and gave us a deadline to have the handrail repaired. I was referred to P & A Welding by another company, so I assumed they are most likely a reputable company. That was a huge mistake. The estimator asked me to send him pictures of the area that needs repaired so he could put together an estimate, and then they would come out to repair the handrail. Seeing as how I was on a deadline, after about a week I had not heard anything from them and began to call the office to see where they were at with the estimate only to be told that someone would call me back when they returned to the office. I never received any return calls. Finally the day before our deadline, I called once again to be told that they are not going to do the repair. All of that waiting to be told they don't want the job?!! Now we are facing code violation fines, because I was a fool enough to trust this company to do what they told me they would do. If you need welding and fabrication work done, go somewhere else. Unless, of course, you don't mind waiting around to see if they want to take the work. If I could rate them with zero stars, I would.
