We just started a project with Oak Alley and have been very impressed with their work ethic and quality of work. Mike is professional and knowledgeable which makes it easy to trust his guidance. The workers are punctual and hard working and always leave our job site neat and tidy.
5 months later:
The project is now finished (on time!) and I can't say enough good about Mike McKay and his team at Oak Alley. If you want a team that cares about your project as much as you do, call them!

My experience with Oak Alley, Inc. has been excellent! Mike responded to an e-mail, and spent a long time on the telephone discussing my potential project -- a main-level laundry room in a house built in 1933 -- and outlining my options to make it a reality. He demonstrated a great depth of knowledge and experience, suggesting details for me to consider and outlining the thorough Oak Alley process. I can't praise Oak Alley enough! We had a good feeling Mike from our very first meeting and were more and more impressed as the process continued. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient and talented. He and his team listened and made excellent suggestions that we'd never even considered. The end result is better than anything we'd hoped for, or even imagined! Having worked with other design and construction companies in Birmingham, I can without a doubt say that Oak Alley is the absolute BEST!

The Oak Alley Team has been an exceptional group to work with. Their knowledge and patience has put my mind at ease. They are assisting with some renovations in my parents home and on their property as I have had to move back home based on their health. Oak Alley has understood our needs, timeline and have not at all been pushy. I definitely would recommend reaching out to this company for any construction, home updates or home addition needs.

My experience with Oak Alley has been rather unique, I would think. We have been working with Mike McKay and Oak Alley for at least five to seven years now trying to design and build our remodeling project. However, a recurring family illness has repeatedly forced a halt to the process.

Mike has been very accommodating and understanding throughout this experience. He has even done various maintenance projects for us while we fight this illness. And the project designs he and his staff have envisioned are all quite attractive, functional and exciting . We are hoping and looking forward to soon getting this project back in full gear and having the home we have hoped for.
