I would give a zero if I could. We did not get any notification that they were coming to repair the sidewalk outside of our fence. At 7:30am my elderly mother was sleeping and was startled by a loud banging at our living room window. Mind you, we have a gate that is locked, and a “beware of dog” sign, so we don’t expect anyone to be banging on our windows or doors etc. I do appreciate them letting us know that we would not be able to use the driveway all day today or tomorrow, but next time, please do not hop the fence and bang on our windows.

Misogynistic, disrespectful, arrogant, inconsiderate, dismissive and talking back SOB employees to homeowners. Blocking access to property homeowners' garages and parking in front of their homes; inhabiting and littering on homeowners' single family residences in neighborhoods they are hired by utility companies to work in.

The guys from NPL have been working in our neighborhood for many months - fixing gas lines.
I take my dog for a mile walk each morning and see the crew.
I've never seen such a professional, hardworking and courteous crew - ever.
They've been pleasant and beyond kind to me and others when they make sure we're safe around their construction.
I've been amazed at how careful and knowledgeable they are when it comes to preserving the yards and environment of residents.
But the thing that impresses me the most is their unbelievable work ethic.
I'm accustomed to seeing crews where one guy is working and everyone else is standing around "supervising".
Not with these guys. It could be early in the morning or well into the afternoon when I pass by. And every guy on the team is working diligently.

NPL was here this week because the home next to us 3023 Carob is to be demolished in the future. NPL needed to try 3 times to find the gas line but they did and they were gone in 3 days. The person out front was kind and told me that it took longer than anticipated. Althouogh they did not contact surrounding homeowners to let them know what was going on, at least they were kind.

Their truck says "Plan Ahead", yet they just dug up the same areas in the road for at least the third time.
There's no scheduling or notifying residents but that's on the worthless Planning Dept in Desert Hot Springs.
7 am jackhammers on my days off.

Dirtied all the cars in parking lot while they were working on the street. All the dirt lifted up and didn’t even use the leaf blower at least for the cars but instead used it for the street. Dirt clouds in riverside/high grove areas
